As for the US, yes indeed they’ve come up with some cool stuff, albeit it would typically haul in scientists from other countries

Which scientists exactly were hauled in?  Didn't all the famous scientists immigrate freely to the US to escape war, oppression, tyranny in their home countries?

Main reason I stopped using them after they denigrated the white male with their horrible adds.

Exactly the same for me. It wasn't even gradual or subtle, just straight to "men are all evil, violent abusers of women".

That's the problem when you operate a "customer for life" business model. Once you betray your customers, some will stop being your customers, for life.

My favorite was "Williams Mug Shaving Soap". It came in regular and menthol and regular, but they discontinued the menthol over 20 years ago. It was hard and lasted forever, but it really worked up nice. It was also the cheapest at under a dollar a cake ten years ago.

I just checked on Amazon and it's $48.98 a cake....

What??  Near 50 dollars?

That is absolute lunacy. It's soap ffs!!

I cant use multiblades because of the manliness of my beard. Too clogging.

I remember long ago, when the first multiblade razors came out, there was a brand of razors which had a little white push-buttin at the top. Simply push the button and the space between the blades opened to clean them.
They disappear and never saw them back.

Woke blades

DIY blades seemed to pull. Don't know if there are thicker blades, not as sharp ... I was "woke" to the difference.

Quick wet shave for me is a Mach 3, & Shaving Gel.

if I have the time (and a bit of a treat) then I use an old Safety 2 edged Razor, go whole Hog; Jot towel (microwave few seconds) leave 2 minutes, pre shave oil or Parrazzo (Green )  eait another 2 minutes then a dish Solid shave Soap with a real Badgers tail shaving brush, lather up & Shave direction of beard, rinse & repeat 2nd pass. Rinse off then again apply hot towel... Relax a few minutes, then apply good quality Post shave balm. Bliss

Electric ravage your face are kust not a decent close shave

But for myself Mach 3 daily is good for my mush & head (im a Baldy)
