In the Hang Dong area, having a tough time with white residue on shower walls and fittings.

Home Pro suggested a resin filter, Mex brand. But the person making the suggestion works for Mex on commission, so I am trying to find what works - if anything.

I am sure others have had the problem, perhaps a few people can post how they got rid of the hard water?
