or see other countries bend and adjust to having America come first for a change,

America has been the # 1 power in the world since World War 2.  Its industrial power supplied the sinews of war to the British and Russians. The USA was producing half of the world's steel in the 50's.

During the Cold War, America came out on top because it had a free market in computers and software. By the time the Russians realized what was happening in that field, the lead was insurmountable. The greenback became the world's reserve currency.

The bean counters came in, and sent a lot of manufacturing offshore. Aided and abetted by your politicians. That was when American debt started piling up. IMO it has now reached the point of no return.

I seriously doubt isolationism will be the answer, there are too many interlinked supply chains in all fields.

America has been coming first for over 70 years. You should not be blaming the rest of the world for crapping in your own nest.

Seems you are the angry one about the existence of lefties as you take every opportunity to comment on how enraged and upset they are, when you are the one displaying that emotion. Pointing out facts and correcting people that intentionally twist information or present misleading information does not mean anyone is miserable. They just prefer the truth over bs. You cant every present any proof or facts, you just run your mouth about how upset people are. Get a grip on yourself or take you meds and a nap and lower your blood pressure.

Your response only proved his point

How so, Im not angry or upset just again posting a fact. But as a trumpette you did exactly what I quoted. You claim anyone with a different view is enraged or upset. Nice try though

Biden made about 2500 tweets during his term of office on Twitter/X. In his first term of office, Trump made 50,000.

AFAIK Biden did not alienate allies, or give comfort to a dictator.

Thanks for confirming the capacity of MAGA morons to exercise doublethink.

What a laugh! With a mere split second of reflection, the first Biden-blessed tyrant that comes to mind is your precious, press gang-operating, election-canceling, church-banning, self-enriching, spoiled wife-sugardaddying tyrant Zelensky. This time y'all sure did pick a strange mascot though! Which part of his schtick sealed the deal for you -- was it that video of him with circular flesh-colored attachments to his chest and buttocks? Maybe the one of him gyrating like a belly dancer?

Then again, that's what happens when a "president" delegates his responsibilities to some radical leftist interns sourced from Sarah Lawrence College 🤔. Because Biden was a mentally diminished, doddering old fool, not sufficiently mentally capable of carrying out his responsibilities himself -- and that's even before he went senile! Jill simply let them gather his signatures between his bouts of drool and diaper-fouling.

"Doublethink" indeed. LOL. Predictably, right out of the Ayers and Alinsky radical leftist playbook. But trivially disprovable.

How will it feel to watch ordinary Americans getting stressed about living costs spiraling out of control? Or Americans becoming pariahs?

You're about 4 years late with that "prediction".

Don't have to pray at all.

A recession is inevitable when a country hikes tariffs, and fires people who would otherwise be paying income tax, and spending.

If there is a recession in Thailand, how does that affect me? How does that hit me harder?

No his statement is nonsense that dems or any party wishes for a recession or more inflation. It affects everyone negatively regardless of party.  No one wants that

There is truth to it, as one party, always wants the other party to fail, not matter what the consequences to the country, average working stiff is.  They're rich, so they simply don't care.  Job security, well, staying in power to rape the budget, is way more important.

And as long as some idiots, too many idiots, simply vote straight party line, no matter if the candidate is qualified or not, the party, must win, so if present administration fails miserably, they win, not the people.

I see the voting all time, divided by party.  That's a bit too obvious.  Only the blind, or those that don't pay attention at all, can't see the bias.  Which is most of the voting public, and how they ended up in the situation that they are not.

Idiots reelecting the same thieving politicians, and they expect some kind of change :cheesy:

About 6 months before the last election, Trump is on record as wishing the US economy would tank. As KhunLA says, the so-called people's representatives really only represent themselves.

I agree about many vote the party line but not all voters. I think there's a bigger issue with the congress only voting on party lines and that's what's cause the financial problem there are today. Its easy to spend money when its not yours to have to pay. You cant blame it on 1 party or the other they are both equally at fault.

I don't agree that any sane person, and most are, want more inflation or a huge recession just to make the other party look bad. Maybe in your dreams if you think that but not in reality.

Gotta find someone else to blame when things go pear-shaped.......

Trump singled out Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his joint session speech on Tuesday, March 4, as the person "to blame if anything goes wrong" with America's attempts to regain ownership of the Panama Canal.

Social media was flooded with critics ridiculing the president for throwing Rubio "under the bus" and mocking the former Florida senator for looking like a deer in the headlights during the speech.

Why are they out of work ? They can easily go get all the jobs the criminal invaders have abandon in the last 4 weeks.
I know 2 different contractors that had crews of 50 not show up for construction work. Plenty jobs to be had if you want to work.

Do you think an office worker sitting in an air-conditioned office with a laptop can reskill themselves to swing a sledgehammer in the boiling sun?

70% of Americans are either overweight or obese. That leaves you 30% to do the hard yakka.

Sure, there are plenty of jobs in construction. But how many Americans want to do that type of work?

It's why the USA has become dependent on foreign workers, legal and illegal.

Have you ever even been to America ? NY and California don't count. I doubt 70% is even close to correct, but so what. They can lose weight.
If being out of work is a problem, I bet they figure out other skillsets just like the rest of us have had to do, and just because you seem confused about what construction actually is, very little of it involves sledge hammers. wow.

It doesn't matter what kind of work you want to do, you do what you have to do to put food on the table and a roof over your head. Thats the only thing that matters.

As for the type of work, they are in ALL types of work and have been for the last 40 yrs. They pay these people pennies on the dollar, very little of which stays in out country.
The only way to fix it is to go after the employers. Thats why we're dependent on them, that and the fact that they let them overstay their visas and never make them leave.

Why do you think so many Republicans fall over themselves supporting Trump? It's because getting endorsed by him gives them the 30% MAGA morons vote. Incurring his wrath loses that 30%.

There are very few Republicans who put their country before their careers.

The base salaries of Congressmen and Senators is $174,000 a year. That's pretty good, quite apart from all the incentives lobby groups hand out for a vote, which may run into millions.

I don't disagree Trump is a grub.

That's a whole different topic and actually ties into what I said about congress voting on party lines not the average voter
