Last week, in a confirmation Hearing for the new Trade Rep, Sen Tillis asked nominee Greer about the flip flop on tariffs and what the actual intent is. When someone throws water on you during Thai New Year, how do you react?
I do my best to stay inside during the entire Songkran period. I only like to get wet when I am taking a shower. I learned long ago that Songkran would only run my blood pressure up to the stratosphere and cause me to react in ways that might get me beaten up or killed. Given those facts, my decision to stay in my condo for the duration of Songkran makes a lot of sense.
