Looking for a small job contractor

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

Im living in Chiang Mai. I have been trying to find someone who could do a somewhat small contractor job. I need someone who can redo our bathroom. Just re tile our walls in the bathroom replace the toilet and sink. And in the kitchen put in a small countertop replace the sink and maybe build a couple of simple shelves. Been looking for months but all the people my wife knows say the job is too small cannot do. Any help in finding somebody would be appreciated.

Thank you

You don't say where you are. In our village there are a few guys that do small jobs such as these. If your wife only speaks with house builders rather than the village odd-job guy, you have their answer.

Where are you buying your tiles, toilet, sink etc?

Places like Homepro, Boonthavorn, Homemart and such may have their own fitters, or recommend a local firm.

When I wanted my bathroom floor and shower retiled, new washbasin & new toilet Boonthavorn would not even look at it. Too small. I got a single guy to do it all but sadly he has moved onto other things.
