At least he's not in the States with an AR14 blowing innocent kids away in school but if you have a horse you best be aware, sounds like this kid has mental issues not mentioned in this post, you have to have some remorse for the parents.

Looking at his mum's Facebook page it appears she's Thai.

Hope he turns up and is ok.

After a year of possible extreme embarrassment, hopefully he didn't off himself.   Suspect that's the parents main concern.

Pretty wrong to disappear like that so I wonder what was going on at home to drive him again like that - its personal stuff, but definitely missing from the story.

The OP kind says some sort of mental disability to me.  Hanging around in "shipyards and boat piers" is king of odd for a 19 year old.

Maybe some sort of autism/mental age of a child thing is a factor.  He may have been led off by some bad people.

Edit: Just re-read the posts and apparently he's the kid that molested a horse?  I guess he might have done a runner, or done something more drastic.  I stand by my initial assessment, though, as the horse thing certainly suggests that he is disturbed.

Has Phuket got an equivalent to soi 6.

He'll appear shortly, when the girls are done with him.

He will need a dose of penicillin and a tube of herpes cream.

I wonder if will  you find it equally amusing if the unfortunate young man is found deceased /

Looks to me like you guys see it as funny when somebody goes missing. Care to explain?

Can an adult male, leaving the house  "carrying a blue backpack"  with  "an adventurous spirit" on a tourist island, really be considered missing, just because he hasn't checked in with the family.

Although, as I stated, and you failed to quote that reply, if I was the parents, I might be a little concerned myself.  As it's probably been a rough year for him, on a bit of self reflection.

The next poster that wants to disguise their racism, by discussing a persons name, will be receiving a posting holiday.

After 3 weeks....hmmmm.....Yes, he can be considered missing.

After that, why would I quote that reply? Do you think that one made up the mean and stupid one?

did he have is passport with him etc ?

Does it make a difference? No.

Yes - from the perspective of widening the search to areas outside of Thailand - checking exit records etc

Has he hurt you... It's obvious he has a problem, but that doesn't mean you need to be so heartless.

He was suspected of earlier raping a miniature horse from the same stable.

Perverted.
maybe he heard it it wrong and mixed the words “horse” and “whores”

Many people go to Phuket to do the whores/horse.

Why would you bother.

Maybe check the closed down Phuket Zoo, they have a few animals still in there.

Anyway, I think it is cute you are showing so much concern for the male adult animal rapist.

assuming that he suddenly have money. A person that do not take money with him, usually also leave the card, as it would most likely be in some kind of wallet.

Bangla Rd in Patong or an area in Karon.

Bangla is not the equivalent to Pattaya 's Soi 6. It's more the equivalent to Soi Buakao or walking street.

There is a small Soi, forgot the name, with short time " massage parlors", short time do the business upstairs places at Patong that is somewhat similar. If it still exists. Last time I was in Phuket was 10 years ago.

Soi 6/sex is pretty unique in Thailand.

Would that be a centaur rather than a foal?

Can you tell me where in the world is anyone welcome if they do not have money, oh I know the Salvation Army.

Irrelevant to this story, as is your reference to whorse and horses.... Also, has he harmed you.

Cheeky of them to describe him as sheepish.

Look, so he's got some unusual problems.

Also it sounds as if the family dealt with the horse incident in good faith, as painful and embarrassing as that must have been to face.

There is no good reason not to wish him and his family well,

Not making light of this missing young man, but Phuket has nothing like Soi 6 in Pattaya. The action on Phuket is terrible with the exception of a lot of ugly and fat women on Bangla Road, there's barely any action left on Phuket in 2025.

Phuket has become a forlorn wasteland.
