A concerning incident in Nakhon Ratchasima province has surfaced, where a mother claims her second-grade daughter was left bruised after being pinched by a teacher. The alleged punishment occurred on March 7, leaving the young girl, Wanmai, frightened to attend school.

The mother, Nijwaree, has publicly sought justice, revealing that her daughter returned home with noticeable bruising and fear of returning to the classroom. According to Nijwaree, Wanmai reported that since beginning second grade, the teacher has been verbally harsh and physically punitive, making her increasingly anxious about attending school.

Following the discovery of the bruises, Nijwaree confronted the teacher, who denied the allegations, despite Wanmai’s account of events. Nijwaree is pressing for answers and justice, as the reasons behind the alleged punishment remain unclear.

Efforts to contact the teacher for their version of the incident have not yielded a response so far, leaving Nijwaree determined to ensure her daughter's well-being and safety in the school environment.

This situation underscores the importance of addressing reported cases of misconduct within educational settings and ensuring a safe learning environment for all students, reported The Thaiger.

Sadly, this is quite common in some schools.

My wife was a kindergarten teacher for many years and she often had to reprimand the teaching assistants for doing things like this.

Mind you, some Thai parents were worse.

One even gave my wife a rolled up, taped newspaper when he brought his daughter into school on the first day of term.
He said to my wife 'if she is naughty, hit her with this'.

My wife binned the paper.
