Perhaps you should read the OP properly, instead of advising others to do so. It quite clearly says this is a national debate about free speech

You've now misrepresented what the article states and the whole point of it, that the dems refuse to accept the facts.........:clap2:

I find it interesting that the left wing Democrats would support this Jew hating Moslem. But they will support any left wing faction that hates Trump even if it harms the United States of America and its citizens.

Mahmoud Khalil had quite  difficult start to life , growing up in turmoil in Syria .

He did quite well though ,managed to attend University  and then move to the USA where he met his Wife and they will have a baby soon .

They could both get well paying jobs and live a nice comfortable life .

Numerous people and charities must have helped the both of them to get where they are .

They had everything, they were young ,married, family soon , professional jobs .

And they threw it all away just to continue shouting and smashing things up .

Palestinians seem to cause trouble everywhere they go , they don't seem to be able to stop fighting

So very true JonnyF. The good American citizens see through Democrats hatred of the Jews and they will remember this coming to the next election. MAGA

According to Leavitt, the Secretary of State can take action against individuals deemed "adversarial to the foreign policy and national security interests" of the United States. She further accused Khalil of distributing "pro-Hamas propaganda" on campus, making it clear that the administration would not allow foreign students to promote ideologies linked to terrorist organizations responsible for American deaths.

She’s referring here to immigration law that’s been linked to in this topic already. The lefties bury their heads in the sand and still claim it’s a free speech issue. His trial is not about free speech.

    It says in the O.P

"Columbia anti-Israel agitator Mahmoud Khalil being deported over ‘pro-Hamas propaganda flyers,’ White House says"

Separately, a Columbia student from India who had her student visa revoked after failing to disclose information on her arrest  in connection with anti-Israel protests when applying for a visa extension  has "self-deported" to Canada, the Department of Homeland Security said in a press release.

A Palestinian student from the West Bank was arrested because of a visa overstay since 2022, the release added.

I am so grateful that the American people saw through Harris and her self loathing white lib supporters.

The average American is much smarter than I was led to believe.

I wish you guys all the best. But please pray for Britain. Send Elon. Send Vance. Save us from Rodney Starmer.

Not charged as of yet; however, Mahmoud Khalil is a pro-Hamas activist, and as such, is a serious threat to the national security of the US; if you don’t think that is a good enough reason for him to be deported, then you are part of the problem.

Supporting and enabling terrorist sympathisers and antisemites is the reason that the Democrats were flushed down the gurgler at the recent election, something it seems you have failed to grasp.

You are conflating support for Palestinians with support for Hamas, as is Rubio et al. Khalil and the protesters are victims of this strategy.

Also, mixing up antisemitism with anti-Zionism has been a strategy for around 10 years as a means of suppressing free speech of people who support self-determination for the Palestinians, but since October 2023 the campaign against free speech has been abetted by laws equating the two through the adoption of the IHRA definition of antisemitism.

What a fabulous video. Cant wait to see more. Hope he makes a speech from the tarmac in Damascus.

Really ? remind me please of the nationality of every single member of the terrorist organisation Hamas; and remind me of the nationality of every resident in Gaza that voted for Hamas to be their recognised government in 2007, and have supported them ever since.

And when you’ve done that, please remind me of the nationality of every person, both Hamas and civilian, that took part in the most barbaric atrocity in modern history on 7th October 2023; and then remind me of the nationality of every civilian that lined the streets of Gaza, jeering, hitting and spitting on the wounded and dead bodies of innocent Israeli citizens that were paraded through Gaza on 7th Oct 23.

And finally, please remind me of the nationality of the members of the UN relief agency UNRWA, that have been hiding hostages in their facilities in Gaza, and some of who’s members took part in 7th Oct massacres.

Take your time, I know these will be difficult questions for you.

The USA is campling down on foreign  violent law breaking activists who cause fear and destruction and disruption .

Some people who agree with those actions of the activists  are trying to stop the clamp down by claiming its a violation of "free speech"

The left seems to love anyone that wants to destroy the west.

So the answer to my question is "No"?

Please share the "reasons" that a Green Card holder and the spouse of a U.S. citizen can be detained and deported without due process.

Reasons:

"If a green card holder is accused of a crime, their criminal case will go through the justice system. But the process to revoke their permanent status takes place in immigration court, where officials must present evidence to justify revoking a green card."

"Revoking a green card is a legal process that starts when the U.S. government determines that an individual has violated immigration laws."

"The Department of Homeland Security usually initiates the process. The green card holder will receive a document known as a Notice to Appear in immigration court or, in serious cases, they may be arrested and detained."

https://www.voanews.com/a/under-what-circumstances-can-a-us-green-card-be-revoked/8009714.html

Due Process:

"Khalil has been ordered to appear in front of an immigration judge on March 27 at the Lasalle Detention Facility in Louisiana."

"Green cards can be revoked, New York-based immigration lawyer Linda Dakin-Grimm told VOA. “It's not that common, but it also isn't rare. People lose their green cards most often when they're convicted of crimes. … A green card is not citizenship."

Fourteenth Amendment
Prohibits states from depriving anyone of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.
Purpose
The Fourteenth Amendment was adopted after the Civil War to protect the rights of Black people and other citizens from discrimination by state governments.

The US Constitution was written with the exclusion of "Idiots and Morons" Guess it's time to add Democrats. :stoner:

I guess you missed 'due process ' in the question posed.

Due process? What happened to Trump was a dictator, no?

What makes you or any other BM believe Mahmoud Khalil has not received due process?  What element of due process do you feel is lacking?

I'm happy to outline in detail how due process has been met at every stage so far,  but before I do that, it would be very helpful  if someone could answer the above two questions.  I have a feeling that some of you don't understand what due process means in an administrative procedure like revocation of Green Card status and removal from the U.S.

If you want to understand what the atmosphere was like at Columbia and the hatred Jewish students faced on a daily basis, watch the video below.   The Administration of Columbia and its affiliate Barnard didn't take any meaningful action until very recently and almost certainly because of the prodding by Trump.  The individual at 0.18 seconds  threatening to murder Jewish students was one of the leaders of Columbia University Apartheid Divest at the same time Mahmoud Khalil was a CUAD leader.

You can also take a look at the report on antisemitism at Columbia by the university's Task Force on Antisemitism here:

https://president.columbia.edu/sites/default/files/content/Announcements/Report-2-Task-Force-on-Antisemitism.pdf

It details many of the events in the video which had been led by Khalil.

The US Democrats have lost the plot - bought out by US big business.

Time for some new progressive political parties to appear in the USA.
