Putin wants lasting peace.  Yet, he keeps on starting wars.

What a joke.

Well, if you knew what you're talking about you'd know he didn't start this one.  Wake up!  Russia won the war.  Putin holds all the cards.  And Trump knows this.  The killing will stop soon.

Oh.    So it’s not Zelenskyy who wants war.   Who knew?!

  • Why would Putin agree to that anyway? He’s got Ukraine on the ropes, he might just take the whole thing. Biden’s gone and Zelensky is fresh out of American friends. Europeans are too cowardly to put t

It's time for the West to get their act together and burry Russia.

NATO without US will have a military budget that dwarfed Russia. The population of Europe is much larger than Russia. NATO will soon have a military force that will be larger in size than Russia. Putin will regret what he has done as Russia will face a much more superior NATO in terms of weaponries and military personnel. Ukraine has to join NATO and they will. Putin can only issue threats and Trump will probably abet Russia and demand non NATO membership. Zelensky will do what ever is needed to secure permanent peace and joining NATO is the only guarantee.

agree  .....    what will Trump do now?   will he demand Putin stop or he'll take military action or does he lose face and let Putin continue.

Trump would not have the guts to do anything against Putin. Not sure what kind of Kompromat Putin has on him, but he does display an extraordinary sense of loyalty to a filthy, serial killing dictator.

Of course, it could just be that Trump adores dictators and despots, that is certainly his nature.

Maga just loves falling for yet another BS lie from Dear Leader and then twisting themselves into knots trying to claim it was not a lie because blah blah blah.

Trump said at a CNN town hall in May 2023, “They’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I’ll have that done — I’ll have that done in 24 hours.”

“That is a war that’s dying to be settled. I will get it settled before I even become president,”

As have most of his other 'day one' promises, including the one where he would only be a dictator for a day.

You still don't get it, do you?  That was for public consumption, only.  Behind the scenes, this NATO quickly agreed that Ukraine will never be a part of NATO.  And if you think otherwise, just watch and wait.

I thought Vlad was worried NATO was getting near to his Russian borders. Wasn't that part of his reasons for invading?

You should have told him he had nothing to worry about.

1) Trump calls up Putin and tells him to get out of Ukraine or all hell will break loose.

2) SLAM down the phone.

3) If Putin does nothing, send a massive overwhelming shock and awe fleet of almost everything we got flying over Ukraine and dropping enough bombs on Russian troops occupying Ukraine to turn the whole area into rubble.

Any questions how a strong leader not a cowardly Russian Agent acts? 😀

WW3 Anyone?

This is sure far cry from Trump's claims that he would have the war resolved in a day once he became president.

“Well, I was being a little bit sarcastic when I said that," Trump said in a clip released ahead of the episode airing Sunday. “What I really mean is I’d like to get it settled and, I’ll, I think, I think I’ll be successful.”

It was a rare admission from Trump, who has a long record of making exaggerated claims.

Trump said at a CNN town hall in May 2023, “They’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I’ll have that done — I’ll have that done in 24 hours.”

“That is a war that’s dying to be settled. I will get it settled before I even become president,” Trump said during his September debate with then-Vice President Kamala Harris. “If I win, when I’m president-elect, and what I’ll do is I’ll speak to one, I’ll speak to the other. I’ll get them together.”

The Republican repeated the claim frequently on the campaign trail.

Republicans are getting so much push back and so much flack from their constituents at the Town Halls that they've decided to just stop having them all together. Better not to face the people who voted for your candidate.

Democrats to Hold “People’s Town Halls” in GOP-Held Target Districts Where Republicans Are Hiding From Their Voters & Constituents

Earlier this month, House Republicans’ leadership told their members to avoid hosting town halls with their constituents.

That’s because Republican members of Congress know they sold out their voters by backing Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s agenda — and they’re terrified to be in the same room as the people who sent them to Washington.

So Democrats are showing up instead.

During this congressional recess, Democrats are launching “People’s Town Halls,” a series of in-person public events in all 50 states across the country featuring local and national Democratic leaders.

This is a chance for people to make their voices heard — regardless of where they live or who they voted for last year.

Upcoming People’s Town Halls include:

Arizona’s 6th Congressional District, represented by Republican Rep. Juan Ciscomani

Colorado’s 8th Congressional District, represented by Republican Rep. Gabe Evans

Florida’s 13th Congressional District, represented by Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna

Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District, represented by Republican Rep. Zach Nunn

Michigan’s 10th Congressional District, represented by Republican Rep. John James

Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District, represented by Republican Rep. Ann Wagner

Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District, represented by Republican Rep. Don Bacon

Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, represented by Republican Rep. Ryan Mackenzie

Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District, represented by Republican Rep. Rob Bresnahan.

You know it’s false when Trump used the same narrative verbatim as Putin on Truth Social.

The celebrations of supporters to a hardcore serial liar....tell them anything and say it over and over and have fox "news" parrot it and they will believe trump will change it all so the sun will set in the east.

End the war day one.  Bring down grocery prices day one.  I won the 2020 election.  It was a perfect call.  I did nothing wrong.....pick a lie of your choice.  There are thousands to choose from.  These are supposedly grown American adults who listen to the lies, watch videos and audios of the words coming from his mouth and then cheer loudly and defend the liar over and over even when shown piles of evidence proving beyond any doubt they were lied to.

Almost child like clinging to a Santa Claus Easter Bunny lie.

Fortunately many of us grow up and learn to tell the difference between lies and facts.

Putin calls for Ukraine to surrender in Kursk

There will be no ceasefire from Putin until he has clawed back control of Kursk. Having it in Ukrainian control weakens his hand in any peace negotiations. The 'allies' (OK, joke term) will demand he gives up territory in Ukraine in exchange for Kursk, so he has to finish that before going to the table. Trump's 'begging' and pleading that he doesn't kill the Ukrainian solidiers in Kursk is his belated realisation of this fact. He's desperately hoping Putin will lay down the guns before negotiations begin. No chance!

Trump's blundering has engineered the situation now playing out. He gave Putin the signal to screw Ukraine, and Putin accepted the offer.

There'll be no peace, despite Trumps begging, until Putin has regained Kursk.

The blood of all those Ukrainian men is on Trumps hands.
