Was the war worth it for Russia? More weeping widows and fatherless children. A ruined economy, a collapsing demographic. An armaments industry which is a laughing stock. A currency no one wants, shut out from the world's banking system.

Yes , life can be a bitch, and it has obviously twisted you badly.

The real question should be, was the war worth it for the west? As confirmed by top US officials, this was a proxy war aimed at weakening Russia. Quite the reverse has happened.

The much vaunted western arms have been shown up to be much less effective than advertised. All the wonder weapons have proven ineffective against Chinese made shovels. Europe’s economy is in the doldrums, energy prices are at record highs. Germany is de-industrialising, major manufacturers are setting up in other countries. Sanctions have been proven as useless in a multi-polar world. China is learning valuable lessons from this conflict.

All this talk about Russia’s economy collapsing and being an international pariah is just bs and western propaganda. Russia may be shut out from the western banking system but there are lots of alternatives and workarounds. GDP, although an imperfect measure, is higher than the G7 countries.

Yes, life’s a bitch, especially when you side with the losing team.

Fact: Russian bank interest rate is 21%. That means 25% at best to any borrower.

Fact: Food inflation is 11%.

Fact: Gazprom is almost bankrupt. Russia' s biggest company.

Fact: There are 87 Russian men to 100 Russian women.

Fact: No Western business will be putting manpower, capital or technology into Russia, at least until Putin is dead.

Fact. No buyer of Russian goods will pay in rubles.

Fact: Russian GDP is $2 trillion. The EU GDP is $20 trillion.
