As someone directly involved in the accident you are unable to determine fault. This is why insurance companies say NEVER admit liability. That's for police/courts/insurance to sort. You are factually incapable of determining that and more than likely under shock, even in minor accidents.

Why don't you just use the seat belt for its intended purpose, which is to save your life in the event of an accident

Not that I'm getting upset about it, but how is that worse than people not wearing a helmet or seatbelt?  The former is just an opinion that might lead to a comment, while the latter leads to people literally dying.

The farang demographic that has settled down here is aging dramatically.

You see them hobbling around on their canes everywhere.

Their constant complaining about life here and their supercilious attitude regarding Thais and Thailand won't be missed.

Seat belts and Airbags usually work together and if you do not use the seat belt the airbag might be disabled, If you do not use seat belt the airbag can actually worsen your injury in case of an accident. You move forward towards the airbag and the airbag detonate and throw you back.

 

Do not use those things they fool the cars safety system.

Hey, if I could convince my wife to leave Thailand, I would get on the first plane out and never return, I would also call in an airstrike to level Southeast Asia to the ground too, but that's another story.

Also, be careful about having your hands in front of the airbag when it goes off.
