In Europe/ Scandinavia I usually get my yearly check up, which includes a full body skin cancer check done with a blue light mostly, taking less than 5 minutes. I did check with a few clinics, in the Rayong and Pattaya area, but mentioning the blue light, I don't get much of a response, or  the "no have" answer. I would like to get a full body skin cancer check up, without being charged a little fortune, since it is really only a matter of minutes.

Any serious suggestions or positive experience regarding the subject would be appreciated.

I understand that some private hospitals offer scans, but the price is totally unacceptable to me, since it costs only a fraction of the price over in Europe with a familiar and trusted environment.

There is very limited expertise with skin cancer in Thailand and few doctors here even understand the concept of an overall skin check. Indeed I doubt whatever hospitals quoted you as s price, was actually this.  More likely it wss for incision and biopsy.

This doctor can/will do it:

Cost is same as any consultation. Including hospital add on  probably 2000 - 3000 baht (excluding any treatment or biopsy if needed).  Don't expect the blue light. Just a quick  visual exam.

This was posted on Facebook earlier today, I'd give this hospital a go, certainly cheaper than BPH who wanted 16k for a biopsy
