if you not sure what you doing or worried, buy an external hard drive. It's as easy as plug and play... Then drop some of the old files from C drive there. Spend a day cleaning up old files. You have a place to store old files (in case PC crashes) Videos and photos and docs. While cleaning up and freeing up your C drive.
