Just been in an Irish sports bar in Bangkok Nana area. There was this idiot from Essex, who groped young waitresses, shouted loudly with every other word, the f word, and was clearly drunk.I was going to spend a lot more but couldn't stand it.This was at 11:45 in the morning.

I know it's difficult for young girls to deal with this, but doesn't seem to be any mechanism to get rid of these scum.

Funniest thing is he was bawling about banning Indians from Thailand.

That's three people on this thread whose total knowledge of bars around Soi 4 comes from reading posts by others who've never been there.

I advise everyone I meet to not enter bars or pubs while in Thailand.

Never do it.

If you want a better bar experience, then please go to Hong Kong.

There are many expensive establishments there where most guys are wearing tie and coat.

This is the kind of bar I prefer.

People in Hong Kong, especially those in Hong Kong bars, detest shouting.

Of course, stay out of the Irish Bars frequented by Farang, when in HK, even.

It does seem to be a common theme amongst many whoremongers in bars to want to have Indians banned.

The Indians tend to treat sex workers as sex workers.

They like doing gang bangs with the Indians and then when they are a bit longer in the tooth they like to settle down with us good heart Brits and start families.

I have never seen an Indian marrying a Thai prostitute.

That's the point of security, what they really need is a mix of Thai and English speaking security, try to talk the thick neck bloke down, if it doesn't work, the Thais step in and beat the crap out of him, seems fair to me

OP's mistake was actually being there.  Hopefully alone.

Married so don't go anywhere without the wife, who I would never even think about going to vendors around Nana with, not that she would accompany into any of them.

Enter the tourist ghettos, and it is what it is ... a haven for the lowest of the low.  My tolerance level is non-existent of late, so best to avoid completely.

Wanchai. Worst place in Hong Kong, Every old qweilo. And  all the Philipina  maids looking for a miracle. I think anybody can hook up there but it seems they hire  homely ones for domestic help.

Yes. I agree.

But, in my previous comment, I said bars, and not brothels.

If you go to bars such as the Hilton's bar, which I recall from 1979, you will find high class first-rate service and ambiance.

Catering to obnoxious drunks with more money than brains is their business model.  If you're offended, I'd suggest you stay away.

They're perfectly capable of handling the situation (after they've carefully divined whether there's more money in kicking them out than letting them be obnoxious).  Keep in mind that the lout may have dropped thousands and thousands of baht in the past.

And some of them even own the places...

If the OP frequents bars, he will have to get used to the fact a proportion of cretins of all nationalities will be there too.

Nana is so yesterday I am surprised people still go there.  The entire area smells like feces, urine, vomit and semen. Mostly dumb clueless tourists.

I think he meant the Soi not Nana Plaza.

Going by the content, or lack of, of his posts I think you may be insulting Essex Girls.

44 minutes ago, Anthony mellows said:

So going back to my original post why are Essex people so obnoxious.

Bit of a sweeping statement isn't it? Have you even considered the possibility that the waitresses actually preferred this punter being in there rather than yourself? Perhaps they were talking behind your back - " I see the miserable prat is back in" etc.
