A German man has been arrested in Chalong, Phuket, after allegedly stealing a motorbike from a Thai resident

Do not waste any more money on the scumbag, just revoke his visa and throw him out of Thailand - easy!

  • Yeah, good comment. Now it´s his fault.

OK. Understood that you are right, from a western perspective. However, it is irksome that Thai people should be penalized for the  thieving behavior of some foreigners. It's like victim blaming.

  • Absolute crap. If the keys are in, stealing is permitted?  Quality foreigners indeed.

Upon his arrest, police discovered both the stolen motorbike and other valuable items in his possession, including a iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is also believed to have been stolen earlier, outside 7/11.

Notorious thief, not the first timer.

Why so many idiots in Phuket and Pattaya nowadays?

Looks like becoming the Criminal Alien Capitals of this kingdom.

Why do tourists come to Thailand to steal from the locals?

That's just idiotic, and illogical.

Better to come here and to give of one's time or resources to local worthy causes....

That is what I do....because it keeps me busy in a constructive way.

I'd like to suggest a new heading:

"German decides to change private accommodation for government accommodation"

Lol.

Ultimate cost-free  visa-waived Thailand experience.

Just right for the Cheapskate.

My opinion, reguardless of nationality, 30+ days in a THAI jail, deport, ban for life.

Unsure how long that foreign trash will be jailed for his thefts.

But deportation and permanent entry ban will be for sure.

It was not an immigration violation, but common crime committed on Thai soil.

I think this German needs a big fine, jail time then deportation and banned 10 years

for sure. I hate thieves.

so if an attractive lady wears a mini skirt its partly her fault when she gets raped?

Miniskirts are legal to wear, have been for as long as they've been around, and nothing is an invitation to rape a woman. That's a mental illness where power and control is used. It's quite different than leaving your key in the ignition, which invites theft. A woman might tease the wrong man if she's wearing a miniskirt and flirts, thinking it doesn't affect some weirdos with no self control. It's never a woman's fault if someone victimizes her.

I think that's probably the case. They are trying to avoid the inevitable, which is to return to their home country.

...and some others who are heading there,  are justifing the common thief.
