As a fellow Brit married to a Thai for 17 years , living in the uk and we make an annual monthly family visits which involve nothing more than me running the family to hospital visits etc repairing their homes and giving food for local people , it pisses me off when daily I read about scum like this over here flying the Brit flag ,,, cause we’re all like that ain’t we ,, well NO were not ALL like that !

I have never seen anywhere a Thai or foreigner on any news article wearing a tag . Chains and handcuffs yes , but never a monitor tag no matter how bad the crime was. Got to say, as a Brit, I was surprised recently to read a Google hotel review where a German was slagging off “Chav” behaviour by Brits.

 

Having now stayed at the hotel, I can fully understand his review. Plenty of nationalities there, but it was only the Brits camped by the bar taking advantage of the All inclusive and getting rowdy. Bit embarrassing being a Brit at times.

Personally mate I don't give a stuff what foreigners get up to, it doesn't affect my life here in Thailand one iota, also my Thai friends and family aren't at all interested, they've got enough going on their own lives.

Well, there are around the same amount of Brits and Germans in Thailand. Little bit less French.

Some of the worst badly behaved tourists I have seen have been South Korean. 

 

Two notable incidents, one on the golf course, another on Soi Cowboy.

 

The latter ended badly for the two Koreans getting beaten severely by a posse of Thais, using all sorts of weapons and dispensed some deserved vigilante justice. 

 

The former ended up with the two guys unconscious as my mate knocked both of them out after they were rude and abusive to Thai caddies at the clubhouse. Their swift demise met with rousing applause from all others present.

 

Maybe this Korean deserved what he received from the British man?
