I haven't seen a 5% bank savings account since I had a full head of hair.

Just like your hair, Critical Race Theory isn't creating any problems.

Just think about all the money you're saving on haircuts.

And donations to Donald Trump to "win" dinner with him, which weirdly enough no one has actually won.  😄

You keep on ignoring my questions and not answering them.

True or False? Only Congress can pass laws.

True or False? Congress has been controlled by mostly Republicans for decades

True or False? Republicans in Congress have never attempted to simplify the tax code only talked about it

Answers: T, T, T.  😭

When did any Democrat express an interest in Tax Reform without the tired old line of "Tax the rich  and make them pay their fair share".  This message is dead on arrival. When was the last time any Democrat expressed an interest in spending less?  There are two ways to reduce the debt because I don't see how 36 Trillion can be paid off in my lifetime:

 1. Reduce spending

  2. Increase tax rates for all taxpayers.  This would include myself (I am in the lower middle class).

Of course these two things will never happen and the debt and interest will continue to grow. I did your questions.

This is how any political party can pass just about any law.

1. Win the White House

2. Win  a majority in the Senate

3. Win a majority in the House

4. Pass and sign laws that will survive a Supreme Court Challenge.  Hmm, I wonder what the balance is in the current make up of the Supreme Court is?

Essentially all this talk about the US Debt Problem is like spitting into the wind.  No elected politician is actually serious about spending less  and increasing taxes. This is beause the primary goal of any elected politician is to win the next election.

What's the biggest challenge you face to answer this question?

What have you tried already to answer your question?

What else could you try to answer your question?

What's another thing you could try to answer your question?

Any other ideas to answer your question? 😭

Partisan liars don't care about facts.

They will churn out more lies "Gish gallop" and shovel out more biased questions that if you answer honestly it makes them look ignorant and foolish.

Bill Clinton (1990s): Under Clinton, the federal government ran a budget surplus for several years. His administration focused on deficit reduction, partly through the 1993 Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act, which included spending restraint and tax increases.

Barack Obama (early 2010s): During the push to recover from the Great Recession, Obama supported stimulus spending, but later backed spending cuts in negotiations with Republicans—like the 2011 Budget Control Act, which imposed caps on discretionary spending (a.k.a. the "sequester").

Joe Biden (recent years): While the Biden administration has passed major spending bills (like the Inflation Reduction Act), it has also claimed deficit reduction—for example, in 2022, the White House pointed to a $1.4 trillion drop in the federal deficit from the previous year, largely as COVID-era emergency spending tapered off.

Individual moderate or fiscally conservative Democrats (like Sen. Joe Manchin or former Rep. Stephanie Murphy) have also pushed back on large spending proposals, advocating for smaller packages or more targeted spending.

So, while Democrats often prioritize different areas of spending than Republicans, there are moments where they’ve advocated cutting or restraining spending—especially when deficits or debt become politically salient.

Partisan Liars? I do not label or call people names. What about you? Total Debt and annual deficits are two different things. Of course running annual deficits will contribute to the overall debt.  A 1.4 Trillion drop in the budget deficit still meant the goverment ran a budget deficit and contributed to the overall debt.  This does even make sense to you.

Of course 9-11, Iraq and A-stan wars came after Clinton left office.  These three events contributed to the debt.  Two of these were unavoidable.  The Debt is mostly a math problem.  But when it comes to politics math and logic are secondary.

As for target spending, have you actually seen some of the items inserted in spending bills?

For so much wisdom that I can't get outside of elementary school.

Next, tell us which Republican President didn't run an annual deficit and began paying down the debt?

"None, in my lifetime"

Which Democrat President didn't run a deficit and began paying down the debt?

Bill Clinton.

Now <deleted> about Democrats not caring about the debt or less deficit spending.

😭

So you I am still a Partisan liar?  If so prove it.  Which side so I lean? What exactly do you know about me based upon some comments on this forum? The answer is almsot nothing. I do not know who or what you are.  Nor do I care to ever find out.

Clinton managed a small surplus late in his term but the debt still increased every year.

Ok. I am also a troll.  Thanks and "yes we can".  I get it. I have heard that sayiing in Spanish many times over the years.  Mostly while I was part of a riot control team in LA.  Were you ever part of a protest in LA in the past?

What's relevant is that GDP grew at a faster rate so the debt was less of a burden. Then George W. Bush massively cut taxes twice and the debt began to rocket upwards.
