What's happened with cannabis in your areas?

Featured Replies

Have anyone been seeing more stores open or more stores close? Any grows opening or closing?

Stores in the hotspots still doing good?

Also curious how prices have changed in your areas.

Just looking for civil decision of the what life is like now around Thailand.

In Pattaya i haven't seen them close or any new ones recently, i never see anyone in these shops, like the Indian restaurants

In Chiang Rai, certainly in the areas frequented by tourists, quite a number of shops opened. They never seem to have any customers, and a number are starting to close down.

I think most of us ex-pats buy our weed online, could save about 80% over going to the shops. Personally, I only go to the dispensaries when a friend from out of town comes and is looking for a place to smoke. There's a few threads about where to buy online in this cannabis forum.

Haven't been in one since months, as they keep the prices at high nonsense prices and I buy it direct from a Thai in Isaan at 25 baht a gram, for what costs 300-500 baht in shops. Same with smoking papers, the shops lost revenue and kept increasing those prices, I just bought 3 boxes (150 books) wholesale at 20 a book too.

That's what happens if you are greedy, it's a bit a shame, I would have loved going to places just to get a coffee and chit chat but not with these prices. Can just go to regular places for a drink then.

It didn't for me either. PM me and I'll give you the Line ID that worked for me, another member was nice enough to help me out with it.

New shops opening up near Eastern Seaboard, never seen anyone enter. Must be portals to an unknown dimension.

I believe many survive on online sales, Like a few Restaurants in my area, almost never see a Customer sitting there eating but they are frequently visited by delivery services.

LINE ID: @fh420

Most shops are located in high-rent areas and also have running costs like staff, electricity, and so on, so they have no choice but to charge much higher prices per gram. Those prices are fine for tourists who are buying a gram or two and just want a convenient place to buy and smoke, but nearly all expats, as many have pointed out, buy online for about 5 percent of what the shops charge. Presumably, many of these shops are operating at a loss, but there’s long been speculation that some are intentionally doing so because they’re being used as money laundering fronts for other gray market business. Nobody knows for sure, but that’s always been the talk, mainly because it’s hard to understand how they survive while charging more per gram than even a dispensary in Amsterdam or New York.

Got no idea about prices, but many sells "buy 2 get 1 free"; however, the price for two might be normal price for 3...:whistling:
More and more stores open – there are about double as many in the area where I live, as there are 7-Elevens. There are 3 convenience stores in my close neighbourhood and 6 cannabis shops...😉

You can even get a "free joint" if you dine in one of the local restaurants...👍

Way too many shops open as the mentality for many here is"want to open some shop or business"

Anyone have any recommendations for a good cannabis shop in Khon Kaen
