respect for statistics

The study of statistics at the university level, as you know...

Is actually one of the more challenging courses, if the course is rigorous.

BUT, seems to me...that....

I vividly recall a statement of yours in which you opined that you were "poor" in Math.

I do not say that you are poor in Math.

I would say that you must be quite good in Math.

I am just repeating one of your statements, stated in the Past.

STATISTICS is a very difficult one-year course at uni.

It is TOUGH, and many fail this class, or do poorly.

Yet, for science, STATISTICS is crucial.

And, for sure, even some smart scientists ask for collaboration from colleagues who are true experts in stats to do the stats-work when they publish a paper.

Just saying.....

I found binomial statistics tougher to get my head around than normally distributed data.

The debunked cancer claims are a common weapon used by the anti-vax community, even though there's no credible science to support their claims, as my prior posts above make clear:

Turbo cancer is not a thing

Mar 28, 2024
...

Bottom line

"The pandemic caused a significant disruption in cancer screenings, and tragically, that meant many people’s cancer diagnoses were delayed, only to be found when they were late-stage. This started well before Covid-19 vaccines were rolled out, and there is no evidence to suggest Covid-19 vaccines are causing a surge in cancer. Even among younger people like Kate Middleton, who unfortunately, are increasingly being diagnosed with cancer." [emphasis added]

As for Dalgleish's anecdotal cancer claims:

Possible increases in cancer rates and lower life expectancy in 2021 are primarily driven by effects of COVID-19, not vaccination

...

"Mercola’s article cited a letter by oncologist Angus Dalgleish published in the Daily Sceptic on 26 November 2022. Addressing the British Medical Journal’s editor-in-chief, Dalgleish claimed to have observed new cancer cases or worsening disease among people who had received COVID-19 vaccine boosters.

Based on personal observations of patients and colleagues, Dalgleish mentioned a few cases of people who had developed leukemia, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and metastatic cancer after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine booster.

However, claims based on anecdotes are unreliable without further data that support them. As neurologist Steven Novella explained on Science-Based Medicine, anecdotes are subject to multiple biases, including the fallibility of human memory, reporting bias, and confirmation bias, which make them extremely difficult to interpret and attribute to a specific cause. Therefore, Dalgleish’s testimony alone is insufficient evidence to support the claim that COVID-19 vaccines cause cancer or make it worse."

Still No Evidence COVID-19 Vaccination Increases Cancer Risk, Despite Posts

May 3, 2024

"It has not been shown that COVID-19 vaccines cause or accelerate cancer. Yet opponents of the vaccines say a new review article “has found that COVID-19 mRNA vaccines could aid cancer development.” The review conclusions are mainly based on the misinterpretation of a study on mRNA cancer vaccines in mice. [emphasis added]

Clinical trials, involving thousands of people, and multiple studies have shown that the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna are safe. Hundreds of millions of doses have been administered under close monitoring systems that have found serious side effects are rare. Studies have also shown that the vaccines work very well in preventing severe COVID-19 disease and death, saving millions of lives across the globe.

There is no evidence to support a link between COVID-19 vaccines and cancer, as we’ve reported. Both the National Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society have stated there’s no information that suggests COVID-19 vaccines cause cancer, make it more aggressive or lead to recurrence of cancer."

The covid vax is toxic filth. It has no place what-so-ever in the body. Some people can deal with it more easily than others. Many factors come into play with that. Too broad for this OP thread.

The body protects itself, all of the time, in many ways. Tumors being one of them. This gene-therapy jab is hard for the body to deal with. These turbo-cancers are really the body's desperate attempts to contain these dreadful toxins and save the body.

There are toxins in our foods which can lead to cancer, but notice how they are consumed for decades before cancer develops. And no one is forcing you to eat them and there is sufficient research out there and most people know which foods are junk foods.

There is no one jab that will give you cancer.

Elon Musk is actually encouraging people to have children and speaking out against low birth rates.

China implemented a 1 child policy due to massive population. Notice they didn't implement a ZERO child policy. Govts are not sociopathic serial killers who want to wipe out entire populations overnight with jabs.

You're being manipulated by these conspiracy quacks.

That doesn't mean "the official narrative" is entirely on the up and up, but "turbo cancer" from a vaccine doesn't exist.

A very rigorous course in Statistics is REALLY TOUGH....

And, I am sure that you know this to be true.

You gots your stats for Social Sciences

You gots your stats for Natural Sciences.

But, much the same, and ALL TOUGH at a higher level...FOR SURE......

Most students struggle....

BIG TIME....

As Trump would say.

"Nature has the answers we seek."   can nature cure Cancer ? or would

you die of Cancer before nature could work , yes there are many plants,

sponges, mushrooms , that can offer cures for diseases', but none have

been found yet to cure Cancer ,that  I know of ,

You don't get it Sir.

You are nature. Nature is you. The body has evolved to maximise its functions for certain important things.

It must protect itself, so that it can develop and grow. Then it reproduces. Mother then looks after babe until such times as its time for jumping the broom, and the cycle repeats.

There is no invisible, mystery entity out there waiting to strike us down at every opportunity. The white-coats are our worst health enemy. Closely followed by our own ignorance, The body does not harm itself, regardless of what some of these quacks continually say..

Nature has the answers we seek.

There is no currently peer-reviewed scientific evidence proving that COVID-19 boosters cause cancer to grow, recur, or progress.

However, there have been some case reports and hypotheses raised — most notably by individuals like Professor Angus Dalgleish — suggesting that in some patients with previously stable cancers, there were observed relapses following booster vaccination. These are anecdotal observations and not conclusive proof of causality.

This is monumental humbug Stephen. They let you escape from the joke section; did they? To quote that famous philosopher; 'you cannot be serious!'

These stats do not tell any story; read on.

Perhaps as many as 3 billion individuals were injected. Some had as many as 4 or 5 of the mRNA experimentals. But in some parts of the world they had more 'traditional; shots..

Now, I'll tell you how many would have died from the covid virus if they hadn't rolled up their sleeves. None!! Zero! Nadder!

Can't you see that covid was a scam, a hoax. A fraud. Call it what you will.

Some unfortunates have died from the jabs, Others are permanently injured, Some will be in less than optimal health for the rest of their days.

Nature has the answers we seek.

They walk among us, and unbelievably they are allowed to vote and reproduce.
