"It's a little ironic, that while the original "modest proposal" was meant to mock the rich, who looked down on the poor, you couldn't help but take the side of the "rich" and mock the "poor" yourself who you clearly look down on."

You might want to look at your personal assumptions that it is the poor who have tattoos and who you clearly look down on.

You're clearly looking down on people with tattoos.  It's ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

Yes.  You're mad at tattooed people, so you're saying bad things about them.

I am sure you are qualified to do that.

I'm clearly more qualified to psychoanalyse than you are to attempt satirical social commentary.

Yawn.  Lie about what I'm doing because you don't like it...  🙄

Yeah, could be. Also influenced by pop stars.

But I'm not convinced it's a really bad thing if you just get a cute tiny one. Unless you get too many and/or some nasty ones whose message you outgrow. A guy in high school was a metalhead with 100 tattoos about the devil and 666 and the beast. Later on, he had to do laser surgery to get them removed.

I think I saw a tattoo place called "Very Sure Tattoo".

Ha ha ... no regrets it you get a tattoo at this joint!

There are a couple of girls I've known for a few years from an agogo and a massage shop, i was always impressed how they resisted getting tattoos, but tattoo creep took hold, slowly but surely small ones that gradually build up until they are the same as the rest

Reading is fundament Dr. Freud, yes I am looking down on the tattooed and the behavior I have seen associated with tattoos as I stated: low probability of an interesting and polite conversation, so I avoid social interaction with them.

As far as I can tell, you are the only person in this thread who has talked about poor people.

I surely have not.

What you are too lacking in self-awareness (although supplied abundantly with self-righteousness) is that you assume that it is poor people that have tattoos. So you are the one who looks down on the poor.

I'm guessing you spend a lot of time indoors. By the way, I did say I didn't have any tattoos. Showing preejudice against people who like art on their bodies in good taste is ignorance. A tattoo has nothing to do with what kind of person they are. Tattoos are something anyone can get. Criminals to politicians. Would you prefer the company of Jeffrey Dahmer, Jeffrey Epstein or Ted Bundy, who didn't have tattoos?

Too defensive there Fred. You gave yourself up.

What do you have? A swallow on the neck? An anchor on the arm? A rose on your ankle?

In my experience women with tattoos are almost a100% certainly of having sex on the first date, 70% more likely to be a single mother and 80% more likely to do anal.

I do, especially women with them and especially face, neck or hand tattoos.

Ladyboys who wear singlets and have tatts

I wish I lived in a climate that was more moderate so I could wear a more diversified wardrobe with some nice shirts.

But it's so hot walking around here ... these types of sleeveless t-shirts are perfect for the climate.

I saw someone wearing a "tuque" ... looked silly to me wearing that in this heat.

I wear singlets during the day and a polo when I go out night. The Thai women prefer a man with a collar.

It's pretty simple.  You positioned those with tattoos as being inferior to those without tattoos, then looked down on them all as one group.  Then you claim to have been inspired by a piece of work that supports those considered to be inferior (the poor) by those who are considered to be superior (the rich).  Which is ironic, given that you were behaving like the rich looking down on the poor in your chosen inspiration.

That's why I used quotation marks.

You can't weasel your way out of this one, I'm afraid.  🤦‍♂️

As I said, go and have a read of the original and think about how you can do better next time.  (And maybe learn to read a little better as well.)

With the recent Supreme court verdict in UK defining a woman as a biological woman, it would be good to get to the bottom of it again with ladyboys and their lovers

I don't think it is possible to judge what type of person someone is based upon whether they have tattoos or not. But I think it is possible to understand a lot about a person based upon the type of tattoos they may have.

Someone who has a tattoo that honors a relative or significant other could be any type of person. Same for someone who has tattoos that commemorate their military service or other remarkable element of their life.

People who have "MS-13" tats are probably gang members and it is best to steer clear.

Someone who has "Deus Vult", a "Chi-Ro", the word "kafir" in Arabic, and a Crusader cross tattooed on their body is probably a radical Christian nationalist and is likely to promote religious violence. These are symbols of white supremacists, specifically the Christian reconstructionist movement. There is no way someone with this ideology should be Secretary of Defense.

Once again you didn't read and understand what I said.

I said I don't want to socialize with people who have tattoos, I didn't say that people with  tattoos were inferior. Again, you are the one who just said that again, attributing it to me doesn't change that you are the one who said it.

Once again you are the one who associated tattoos with poor people, not me.

Again, I never said I was inspired by Swift, only that I copied his title and that that might have been a clue that this proposal was not to be taken seriously.

You wrote "you couldn't help but take the side of the "rich" and mock the "poor" yourself who you clearly look down on."

How you think that using quotes absolves you is beyond me.

You are the one who put this in terms of rich and poor and inferior and superior.

Not me.

You like to pontificate in your posts but you don't really have much of interest to say.

But knock yourself out with your little poorly thought, illogical posts.

I have nothing to absolve myself of.  The use of quotation marks changes the meaning of the words.  You should really know that.

So yes, you definitely need to go somewhere quiet and think about all of this.

must be peer pressure.

the girls must all be pushing new girls who enter the trade.

it's a "rite of passage" i think in the bar industry.

Very interesting. I try to stay away from anyone that has a tat as they are a sure sign of low class and a lack of education.

Please explain in what way being "low class" (assuming you are referring to basic Marxist categories) and lacking education makes one an undesirable individual.

I stick up for those who need it. My children have them, dad had one, many friends have them. I don't have any. If you're buying women that have tattoos, yes, you'll probably get sex from them on the first date. I don't know you but I'm guessing you don't have much experience with normal women, so you're talking about women you've paid for, or young, naive, single mothers who are targets for those who BS them.

Like "wife beater", it's a way to describe exactly what they are in a word or 2.  Not meant to demean anyone.

Edit:  I'd never even heard of a "singlet" until I traveled where I found Brits.  I had to look it up the first time.

Gee Fred, if you are buying them you ALWAYS get sex.

Up to you, but I wouldn’t really call it a “date”.
You are naive.

You keep calling me naive but I'm not, and there has never been a post I've made that could have anyone say this. The fact you disagree with some of my posts has nothing to do with it either, as I've always proven you wrong and yet you keep coming back with your assumptions. It might be best if you actually looked up the definitions of words before you label people you don't know with them, as it makes you look like a teenager with no sense of restraint. Also, you have very little knowledge of subjects you're argued with me about. I stated facts, you made opinions, and this happens again and again. Like I said, research first, assume less, restrain yourself before you reply. I'm not near the only one who's noticed as you've been labeled a troll many times here, along with a few of your cronies.

Yet you claim to have had sex with many of them. So, you look down on those you have sex with? Why is this? Are they lesser people because they have tattoos? I have 4 daughters , all with tattoos, all with well above average IQ's, working, married, raising children, good moms and responsible. And I'm sure all could kick your butt fairly easily.
