Its always pattaya and phuket in the news. What do these two places have in common?

Pattaya and Patong in this case, bad behaviour being in either one often. equating the whole of Phuket with Patong isn't exactly rational. On the other hand, general news about Pattaya and Phuket is because of the sheer volume of tourism and foreign residents. So now you know.

This is classed as a family forum, you need to work around potentially offensive words if you want to retain your current forum identity much longer than the two weeks you've currently managed. I'd guess your current forum identity would only last 3 months at the most.

You find the terms he used offensive? Why is that? Poop and pee are words for infants as he said, whom are unlikely to be on this forum.

Women? I don't think so. Men, yes, definitely.

Taxi and minibus drivers generally.

A shocking scene unfolded on the streets of Phuket as a foreign tourist was caught on camera urinating on a moving tuk-tuk. The incident, which went viral after being shared by user "Wissawa Jed Dok Jick" on Facebook, has sparked widespread condemnation.

The footage shows the audacious act unfolding on April 24th, with other vehicles and pedestrians left aghast at the sight.

The uploader, echoing public sentiment, slammed the act as "unacceptable behaviour" and expressed disdain for such disrespectful actions in public spaces.

The scene was captured amidst the hustle and bustle of Patong, with the tourist seemingly oblivious to the consequences of his behaviour. This brazen display has once again highlighted concerns about certain tourists' attitudes while visiting Thailand.

The video has triggered a surge of reactions online, with many netizens expressing their disgust and demanding stricter monitoring to prevent such public offences.

Calls for better regulations have emerged, as users emphasize the need for visitors to adhere to local decorum. This incident feeds into a broader conversation about the impact of tourist behaviour on community standards and public hygiene.

Discussions have been reignited concerning the necessity of educating travelers on respecting cultural norms and the significance of maintaining public decency.

While this latest occurrence adds to an ongoing dialogue, it underscores the crucial role of local authorities in enforcing standards and deterring disrespectful behaviour. As the debate continues, the push for effective measures to safeguard public environments remains a pressing priority.

As of now, no official statements have been reported from local police or authorities regarding the tourist's actions. The incident stands as a stark reminder to all visitors of the importance of respecting local customs and laws.

My experience has shown that public toilets are few and far between, and those which do exist are foul  & disgusting

No I do not think his actions are acceptable, could have asked the driver to stop in a discrete area

If the Tuk-Tuk was moving, I wonder how someone got such a close-up photo.  Was it all planned?

And how can we be sure he was a touurist ? I do not see his head.

Is it his clean shoes that give him away as a tourist ?

not very decorum,  but not worth having a cow over.

netizens ... get a life.

The head that was pixelated would just indicate if he was Jewish.

A toilet perhaps? Or I’d accept in his drink bottle!

Drunks, drugs and cheap tourists.

I don't condone what this guy did, and I think it's pretty sloppy behavior, but it's not a complete outrage, it's not quite the hugely terrible incident that they're making it out to be.

Look, Thailand has invited tens of millions of tourists here in an utter desperation for that cash, with little to no qualifications whatsoever to get a visa, and they have to expect that there are going to be quite a few fools.

Unfortunately they tend to be concentrated in Pattaya, and Phuket, but that's life.

I think it's time for the snowflake behavior to stop, and it's time to stop making a mountain out of a puddle of piss.

Don't allow any nonrecident aliens in to Phuket.

I would have got off or waited then found a tree or quiet spot to pee.I,am sure and have seen thais doing the same in a quite spot. They film sex on the beach  in pattaya then complain and put it on social media too.It is part of life i would not be to concerned
