I did that once.
I'd borrowed a friend's car and went with TGF of the time to Nong Nooch.
On the way there, my friend's licence fell out of the sun visor, so when we arrived at NN, I showed it and got the Thai price.
TGF looks at me and says "you don't look like Peter (my friend)"
I couldn't resist it......my reply was "We all look the same to you lot" 😎
Ayutthaya office took my forms, stamped my passport with an Under Consideration stamp which was good for 3 weeks. Told come back on that day. After 10 days was contacted again and told that I can come get new Retirement stamp.
Make that initial fine 5,000 thb and they will think about it next time next time a rescue vehicle needs to pass. Very much agree with far more serious consequences if the patient dies while enroute after being delayed.
