Popular Post Social Media Posted Monday at 09:04 PM Popular Post Posted Monday at 09:04 PM Trump Hints at Breakthrough in Iran Talks Amid Renewed Diplomatic Push President Donald Trump on Sunday offered a cautiously optimistic outlook on the ongoing negotiations with Iran, suggesting that the U.S. might soon have promising news to share. Speaking to reporters from the tarmac in Morristown, New Jersey, before departing for Washington, D.C., Trump said, “Let’s see what happens, but I think we can have some good news on the Iran front.” The comments come just days after delegations from the United States and Iran concluded a fifth round of indirect negotiations in Rome aimed at crafting a new nuclear agreement. These talks are part of an effort to revive diplomatic engagement following the Trump administration’s 2018 decision to withdraw from the original Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), a nuclear deal brokered during the Obama presidency. Since pulling out of that agreement, the Trump administration has pushed for stricter limits on Iran’s nuclear program, while also applying increased economic pressure in hopes of bringing Tehran back to the negotiating table under new terms. In a sign of tentative progress, Iranian officials have also described the recent talks in positive terms. According to a report by NBC, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi praised the tone and substance of the latest round. “We have just completed one of the most professional rounds of talks. … We firmly stated Iran‘s position. … The fact that we are now on a reasonable path, in my view, is itself a sign of progress,” Araghchi told Iranian state television. He added, “The proposals and solutions will be reviewed in respective capitals … and the next round of talks will be scheduled accordingly.” While Trump stopped short of confirming any specific breakthroughs, he hinted at optimism. “On Iran, I don’t know if I would be telling anything good or bad, but I have a feeling we’ll be telling you something good,” he said. The renewed talks mark a significant development in U.S.-Iran relations, which have been marked by heightened tensions and the threat of conflict since the collapse of the original nuclear agreement. The Trump administration has maintained that any new deal must address a broader range of concerns, including Iran’s ballistic missile program and regional military activity, not just its nuclear capabilities. As both sides prepare for further dialogue, Trump’s suggestion of “good news” offers a glimmer of hope that diplomacy may yet prevail over confrontation. The world will now be watching closely to see whether this fragile momentum can lead to a lasting and enforceable agreement that satisfies both nations’ strategic interests. First rule of thumb is never believe what Trump claimed or spinned. . Obama didn't give 150 billion in cash to Iran. The agreement to frozen Iran's assets included China, France, Germany, Russia, UK and USA and EU; so Obama didn't carry out any part of it on his own. The frozen assets were held largely in foreign, not US banks and the amount was also disputed. Some estimate to be around 50 billions. When the sanction was lifted, the money was unfrozen and returned back to Iran. Similarly Biden released 6 billions of unfrozen Iranian funds. 2

The USA complied with a court order to return the money Iran had paid for the purchase of arms that the USA had then cancelled. Multiple court judgements found in favour of Iran. There was a court order to return the money. The US government at the time followed the rule of law. Plastering the forum with malicious untruthful claims is not expressing an opinion. It is ignorant and a reflection of someone who does not believe in the rule of law or in respect for a court order. Had the US not obeyed the court ruling which had dragged out for decades, US commercial businesses around the world would have lost all legal protection because foreign governments could have followed the US precedent. 1 2

connda Posted Tuesday at 05:58 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:58 AM As did I. The US and NATO and their Western allies want war. War is revenues and profits. Peace is not profitable. So the US, EU, UK, et.al, just spin the war rhetoric and hyperbole. "The first causality of war is the Truth." So let's raise our cups to God on High, bow our heads, and pray. “O Lord our Father, our young patriots, idols of our hearts, go forth to battle — be Thou near them! With them — in spirit — we also go forth from the sweet peace of our beloved firesides to smite the foe. O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it — for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen." -- The War Prayer, Mark Twain 💰 "And dear Lord. Triple the value of my Defense Industry Stock Portfolio and MIC ETFs by 2030 and let's stick it to those Ruskies, China-men, and Iranians in your name dear father in heaven. Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran. Russia and China too. $$$Cha-Ching$$$ Amen!" I don't believe for a second that a treaty will be signed with Iran. The goalposts will continue to be moved. The only treaty the West will endorse is a treaty where Iran gives up it's entire nuclear program, dismantles all of their missiles, and completely demilitarizes, after which, some story will be made up like Iran's leadership handing out condoms to the troops in order to rape Israel women when they invade Gaza, and then the bombs will fall with the intent to turn Iran into another Libya. If a treaty is signed that doesn't contain those elements, the treaty will be broken by the US in short order - then bomb's away. But it will never be ratified in Congress. Never happen. 1
