Agreed that’s blind partisanship and is vile in my view.

I agree wholeheartedly although fried chicken done right (not KFC) is so good. But a proper taco is just unbeatable.

So, if you know he will chicken out of any tariffs there is no reason to get hysterical the next time he puts some on.

That's what's so great about Wall Street, lately. They get hysterical every time Trump makes a move, even though the hysteria is not really warranted.  It never fails.  And it's a good way to make money.  Just BTFD, as the saying goes.

Your statement should be prefaced with the words :

"I hate the United States and Donald Trump the rapist convicted felon grifter manchild draft dodging liar election stealing racist dictator and his filthy brainwashed trumpette trumpsters jan 6 insurrectionists....."

Draft dodging is now an insult. LOL Since when does a government have the right to scoop up young men; torture them; and send them off the kill innocent people or be killed. DRAFT DODGER SEEMS PRETTY SMART TO ME.

Grifter & man-child both seem pretty  subjective insults to me. I would have thought they apply to Biden more; especially man-child and perhaps grifter also....

The whole "Taco" meme, whilst amusing, is also indicative of a significant result to Trump's economic policies (if they can be called that).

Wall Street and the rest of the world simply don't take him seriously, the bewildering blizzard of tariff announcements and withdrawals, reductions and increases, which appear to be pulled out of a hat (I was about to say from somewhere else but realise that many readers may be eating their breakfasts) make it impossible for anyone trading with or doing business involving imported goods to plan, invest or function.

He excuses it as negotiations, but the ground on which he stands shifts so rapidly and unpredictably that negotiations are meaningless. What he is actually doing is bullying - issuing threats in the hope that people and countries will debase them themselves in front of him: in his own course yet memorable phrase " kiss his arse".

The trouble is, that whilst his threatened actions may damage the trading partners economies, they also do damage to the US, real damage. The results in the tourist and automotive industries are early evidence.

He may hark back to the "golden era" pre 1914 when economic and trade policy was built upon tariffs, but the world's trade system, and the US economy were way way less interconnected and dependent upon trade then.

aside fro the TACO he also uses a lot of FAFO, tremendous, that's bad, very bad, fake news, etc....

The consequences of TACO are becoming apparent.

Trump’s foreign policy frustrations are piling up

"Some world leaders appear to have calculated that the US president is not as powerful as he thinks he is. He keeps being ignored and humiliated by Russian President Vladimir Putin who is defying the US effort to end the war in Ukraine. Russian media is now portraying Trump as the tough talker who always blinks and never imposes consequences.

The president also thought that he could shape China to his will by facing down leader Xi Jinping in a trade war, but he misunderstood Chinese politics. The one thing an authoritarian in Beijing can never do is bow down to a US president."
