Gift a motorcycle?

Can my wife gift me her motorcycle? So it can be put in my name.

Of course she can...why do you even want it in your name just ride it.

I don't even get the question. You have a Thai wife, but absolutely no clue?

She can gift it to you, charge you 1 baht, or 100,000 baht. It's Thailand. Up to you.

It will remain one of life's mysteries then.

I would hold out until she pays you to take it.

As long as she doesn't gift it to somebody else....! 😜 You'll be fine...

She can give you the motorcycle  for 0 baht you can the go to the DLT and transfer the green book into your name as long as you have all the other relevant documents

or you can just ride the thing without it being registered in your name which is 100% easier and totally legal... again why does it have to be in your name ???

Exactly. Just as I have been doing with our 2 motorcycles for the last ten 10 years. (I still say that the Aerox is mine though)

Maybe she have a loan on the motorcycle and the finance company want it back.A daily thing in Thailand.

Yes but how would putting the bike in her husbands name help ?

As long as you pay all the outstanding fines and taxes due...sure she can
