I've noticed a huge rise in violent crime and entitled attitudes amongst mostly foreigners. The weed shops and ease of visas has attracted the scum of The Earth and are the 2 main reasons for the switch. Violence on a daily basis in Phuket & Pattaya. You only have to look on Tik tok and twitter to see all these Ibiza rejects and Nazis posting their bile and hate while being off their heads on dope...with 1,000s of followers of the same ilk being bombarded with the idea anything goes, what can you expect

But the trash that beer bars attract are ok?  I much prefer seeing mellow spaced out patrons of weed shops, that never bother anyone, over all the drunk a-holes walking around.

So these were "local" foreigners not farang. I would have been more worried if they had been a bunch of Brits, or Russians or French or Yanks or a mixture of them all.

I wouldn't have been more worried, but surprised aside from Russians, and even they would be a little surprising tbh.. but anyway do you know what's happening in Myanmar currently? Those Burmese fellas could give you a bit of the old chop chop and go back over to Myanmar border where they will disappear and no one will be looking for them there even if they can identify the attacker/s.

Most of the violence is caused by potheads 👍

So what were they actually planning on doing ? 🤔

They were planning to act out some kinda gangsta rap fantasy.

Sick.

Venal.

High time  - pardon the pun - to outlaw the devil's lettuce, Thailand.

The idea that they can easily put the genie back in the bottle is funny.  Weed is here to stay.  And IMO despite the reality that both weed and booze cause some "issues" neither should be outlawed IMO.

However, as guests in this country its not up to us as to what the powers to be decide to do. It's easy to put the genie back on the bottle....its called enforcing the laws regardless.

Problem with that is there is too much money invested by powerful people in the weed business.  They have influence with politicians.  So that genie isn't going back in the bottle.  Just my opinion.

Yes, I feel for you, me being of the generation that did not feel so entitled, received a fantastic education, has respect for authority and my elders, does not need 1,000 likes to feel important, works/worked hard from age 15 and many other fine attributes...you just keep posting while you are spaced out and withering your brain with the demon pot 👍
