I don't own anything of any value in Thailand.

My most expensive possession (excluding her) is my electric MTB @34kbht, and if she wants it she can have it.  Never saw any reason to spend big money while in a country I have no right to live.

Since there is crawl space to work with at yours, i would have used the one shown. (  I use with my kitchen sink as it is good for a lifetime) .  Sold in different diameters at building supplies.     I am not a fanatical photo taker... but i keep this one to show a builder what I want .

excellent solution , job sorted and case closed, happy wife =happy life.  well done.   There are some on here who would have refused, tried to argue with her, (for months) involved lawyers even etc etc,  all futile and counter productive.  Like you correctly say   "Can't cure stupid"
