  • Yes!!!! Bomb Iran back to the stone age, this terrorist state needs to be taken out for good. 👏

  • Iran used to be a nice place until the meddling Americans came along.

  • So Trump didn't end the Gaza war and involved in this middle-east escalation. Didn't he vowed to make the world safer. How much will this new war cost the tax payers.

Trump tried. There were multiple  good faith offers made, and every time Hamas, Islamic Jihad and others refused to end hostilities and to release the hostages. It is unreasonable and unfair to blame Trump when the terror groups refused to enter into a peace agreement. Trump put alot of pressure on israel to negotiate and to accept things it was uncomfortable with. It was Gaza which did not want  peace.

It is never easy whether ending the complicated Gaza or Ukraine war even if you are a bragger like Trump.

It takes all the concerned parties to agree not just Hamas. US was close to securing a ceasefire to end the Gaza war in Doha with a preliminary deal. All changed when the US chief negotiator Witkoff changed course and modified the plan that was accepted by Israel thus tossing the deal up in the air. Israel and US might have thought that Hamas have been severely battered and too weak to reject any proposal. Soon after Israel laucned more attacks on Gaza and inflicted more casualties and suffering. Trump's pressure on Netanyahu have been ignored. He can insert lots of pressure on Netanyahu or he is complicit in abetting Netanyahu to go to war with Iran on his behalf.

Nothing to celebrate because Iran will retaliate. Hopefully, not with one of its nuclear  devices, even  a dirty bomb. The  missiles Iran will fire will pass over some arab countries and there may be collateral damage. Iran may even  attack UK and US interests in the region because they are seen as the enemy too, since they back the Gulf Arabs against Iran.

The Iranian dissident community social media is running with "thank you uncle Benny" jokes, which is in keeping with  Iranian "black" sense of humour.  I hope that  the missiles fired between the two are restricted to military targets.

I have a feeling that Israel is going to get clobbered, but whether it happens nor or in a year, it was inevitable because the Iranian  nuclear talks were going to fail and Iran has lied about its nuclear stockpiles.

Attacking U.S. or UK interests will cause all hell to break loose.  U.S. bombers on Diego Garcia are standing by for a bombing run on Iran's underground nuclear facilities.

Good on Israel, something had to be done.

How many new refugees will be heading to Europe?

All ready Europe is over run with migrants, there is not much room for more.

They were apparently moved there in April, does this attack by Israel make them more or less likely to be used against Iran?

Good to see Israel fighting the good fight.

No doubt the left will side with Iran. 😄

Israel was formed so they could leave Europe.

Not sure about that.

The right are historically very anti semetic history shows.
But I don’t think right-left politics is the reason that so many do seem do have such a dislike for Israel. It is a lot more complicated than that.

Much like they did in Iraq when they took out half a million citzens and all those weapons of mass destruction.

They actually haven’t located them yet but I am confident they will show up somewhere soon.

Iran launched 200 missiles but so far 1 reported dead and some damage at an military airport.

Well Tony Blair said they were there so they must be. He wouldn't lie. Not Teflon Tony.

Go back to your playground

Is it not possible to strike against the right wing leaders of the theocracy?

Knock them off and install a moderate government.

Iran has the right too , to defend itself.

Go for it, they are in the bow and arrow stage already.

It will not be carpet bombing, but pinpoint attacks with bunker busting bombs delivered by B2 stealth bombers.  While Iran has said they will build even deeper facilities next to Nantanz the construction can be interrupted on a regular basis.

Israel just announced that 100 drones were launched by Iran. They should show up to be shot down in 2 hours.

Just more targets for the Israeli Air Force. They know where the drones came from. Hopefully they arent launching them from schools and hospitals like the cowards usually do.

They obviously are more than ready, and the US ships in the area will also help shoot them down, as that would be a defensive (protective) move on our part.

You left out the rest of my post?  Was this intentional?

Israelis are incredibly disciplined, they will take cover as soon as directed.

Its like a flea biting an elephant

Ah, a good news thread.

Trump HAS spoke and look what happened 24 hours later. Trump, (unlike the weak and frail Iran appeaser Biden), along with, and especially bibi and the IDF ain't messing about with Iran, just go ask Qasem Soleimani.
