Israel’s Strikes Leave Iran Reeling Amid Escalating Conflict

Fair enough but again what did the US do in the first place to elicit these responses from the Iranian people.

The USA long before Trump, during the Carter term supported human rights and was sympathetic to the  ideals of the Iranian revolution. The USA did not take in the Shah and he died in exile in Egypt. The Iran hostage event occurred during President Carter's term. The Iranians had every opportunity to normalize relations with the USA since then but instead chose to  be hostile. Blaming the USA is victim blaming.

Oh the gullible, believing fake Iran media............

IDF denies Iranian state media report claiming Tehran downed pair of Israeli fighter jets
The IDF denies a report by Iran’s state media claiming that the country’s forces downed two Israeli fighter jets and captured a pilot.

“Fake Iranian media,” says Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman. “This news being spread by Iranian media is completely baseless.”

Don't count on it. I have been hearing about an uprising from the Iranian people for over 30 years now. And the mullahs still control things. When they are gone is when Iran will be finished. Tehran was always the most enlightened part of Iran, and when you look at pictures of life under the Shah, with relatively modern, liberal daily life in the country, it was in Tehran. The countryside was where the maniacs were in charge and where they outnumbered urbanites. One of the components of the White Revolution was to take impoverished children from country villages and pay for their education in Western universities. They were supposed to study things like civil and petroleum engineering to make the country stronger. Instead they went into "political economy," studied Marx and Franz Fanon, and came back and tied up with Khomeini. The "students" then found it easier to live out their totalitarian dreams wearing a turban, instead of a red star. I still think the balance of the population is in rural areas. And they are just as mediaeval and benighted now as they were forty or fifty years ago.

That's a very selective history.

Iran hates America due to the overthrow of the democratically elected government in the fifties, the unwavering support for Israel and the sanctions imposed by the USA.

Yours is far more selective though, a bit of AI for you.

As Iran is selling Drones & other military equipment to Vladimir Putin. Supplying a team who helps in both manufacturing & employment of said technology, in Russia itself, I would have imagined you would be highly concerned about what this attack might foretell, instead of laughing.

You watch a european or US TV news channel and one would wrongfully see and think Iran is destroyed,

You watch Al jazeera and you would see all the damage inflicted to Israel and many areas totally distroyed.

As long as america continues to support Israel and refuse an independant palestinian state, there will always be wars and trouble all over. But why stop it ? It generates trillions in arms sales globally. So who wants peace ? Not america or Europe for sure...

Now that’s what I call very interesting.

All of a sudden events in the past become a justification for events in the present.

Just reading the first few lines of this report made me smile; made me laugh; made me pray and thank ISRAEL for doing all the work that the UK & EU have been too cowardly, lazy and useless to do for themselves. Thank you Israel for giving the people of Iran a chance; especially the women who have been especially maltreated by this vile theocratic regime. Go Israel.

Your claim is politically expedient, but not supported by reality.  The people alive in Iran today, do not remember the 1950's.  Life expectancy for Iranians who were alive in the 1970's and 1980's ranged from age 50-58.  The last Iranian revolution was 45 years ago. This means that a growing number of that generation is  dead and buried or  elderly.

The reality is that the  school curriculum teaches a hatred of western culture, and the Iranian government doctrine is one of hate. The Iranian government  and its religious institutions promote hate and violence. Th mosques are used to  control the masses, to spread doctrine and to incite violence and hate.  One will never hear the Iman tell  his congregation to turn the other cheek or to love one's neighbor as  thyself. That is your Iran of 2025.

The USA has been trying to normalize relations with Iran and instead Iran has meddled in the affairs of Saudi Arabie, UAE, Bahrain, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt and the PLA.  Wherever it has gone, its doctrine is one of shiite  inspired hate against Sunnis. Christians , Bahaists, Hindus and Jews.

The events of the past that you so casually dismiss are ongoing. Iran has been at this since 1980. Wherever the Iranian government has meddled  war, destruction, pestilence, famine and tragedy as been  its outcome. The  600,000 dead, 14 million refugees and a nation lying in ruins was a direct result of  Iran propping up Assad the tyrant in Syria. The mess of Yemen is the result of Iranian support of its Houthi proxy. The mess that Lebanion is with a shiite state within a state, where Hezbollah does not respect the  government is because of Iran. The  devastation in Gaza is because of  Iran's support and patronage of Hamas and other extremist groups.  The  violence in  Chad and Libya is in large part because of iranian support. etc. etc. etc.

The Israeli response to continued  aggression by Iran  was inevitable once Iran refused to  work with the USA to achieve a nuclear agreement.

Shame on Trump for helping.

And with allies like Russia and China , you're nothing.

How is he helping? He's done nothing yet. It remains to be seen if and when the USA not Trump will go to the aid of their ally Israel their war against their mutual foe Iran.
