Three guys I used to play with hooked up with their caddies in  long-term relationships. AFAIK still together.

 

Caddies range in age from teenagers to 60 yo. Some are hot, some are ugly.

 

In high season, a caddie can make 10,000 baht/month. Down to 3000 baht/month in low season.

 

It still pays better than working 8 hours in the rice fields for 200 baht.

 

I remember a caddie in Chiang Mai who wanted to hook up with me, I was already taken.

Well,  if you purposely hit a drive deep in the woods she will follow you to look for the ball.  That is about the only short time rooms I know of.

No, caddies have a queue system, so if you prior book good for her. Also tipping is a good idea. The caddies are usually local females living with family etc. There would be exceptions.

The answer is "Yes."  But life in Thailand is both fungible and transactional.  Guys normally have that figured out by the end of the first year living here.
