Out of the blue, I can't log in for Hotmail anymore.

Featured Replies

Out of the blue, I can't log in for Hotmail anymore. They want alternative log in (facial recognition/Fingerprint/access key) by way of Microsoft "Hello". But there, it says that all of those options are "currently" not available. Or it suggests that I log in with a differnt device (buying an other laptop)? 🥲This is weird.

What is all this Bull about? Anyone else affected by this?

This happened to me about two years ago. I had been using a bookmarked url, that all of  sudden stopped working. They had changed the url.

Cleared cookies and cache, then went through MSN to outlook.live and could log in there.

16 million passwords were hacked in the last few days. Everybody has been advised to change their passwords.

Easy  Fix  now ,Ditch Microsoft.  🙏

Hotmail, and also Yahoo have been a thorn in my side for years, because I do travel frequently, and every time I am in a new location, I have to jump through hoops to try and log in, often unsuccessfully.

Only GMail has allowed me to be connected no matter where in the world I am.

Agree.  In the bit of China I live in Gmail works fine. If I go 30km north it doesn't.  Go figure.

Passwords only are not trustable. Use Authenticator app. and password both. &nbsp

I added a VPN which is what the cryptic message displayed when I could not log onto my hotmail said.  I picked NORD VPN.  I often do not even connect it, but I figured it might come in handy.  Hotmail was happy now.  Note that when I log in using my MOTO G7 android phone I have not had any problems.  I only had problems when using my computer.

Been using hotmail for 20 years, never had a problem. Gmail, Yahoo, Btinternet and others all had problems. Very little junk mail with hotmail.
