No, you posted a very specific claim, why try to deny it?

Yes, my claim was that this didn't come from some "utter demented clowns on the Internet".

Correct.

Half of $1 billion to make a couple of big holes. A bargain really, when you considered it cost $1 trillion to catch Saddam.

”Mission Accomplished”?

Again?

Correct.

Your claim was false and your further denial is even more dishonest and shows that you cannot actually debate at all. This is not what really happened.

Two weeks ago - "Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapons program, Donald is delusional."

This week - "The attacks have only set back Iran's nuclear weapons program a few months, Donald is a failure."

Or:

"Na, na, na, na, na - Iran moved their nuke capability before Donald's bombs hit."

Source - utter demented clowns on the Internet.

fake news and the haters here hate, despise, loath Trump success. You all been had by CNN and the other fake news hoax pushing networks and because of your derangment Trump waltzed back into WH and is making stellar accomplishments nonstop. prove me wrong and be sure to contrast with the brain rotted Biden and his epic dumpster fire failures the past 4 years.

It's not fake news  it's a leaked preliminary assessment.

I am not a big fan of Trump but I absolutely wish him success in his dealings with Iran.

Iranian mad mullahs have been a menace since 1979 and if they can be reined in I am in support of whoever can do it.

I can't understand anyone who doesn't support this.

The left wingers in America hate Trump so much they hope for failure of everything to justify their hatred.  They would applaud a collapse of our economy (remember they shouted joy about the short term drop in the stock markets) and here they hope against hope a military strike ordered against a clearly mad regime's nuclear ambitions failed.  In short - they are bat<deleted> crazy hating on Trump and will believe ANYTHING printed that disparages he or anything he was behind.

This isn't just disagreement of policy which is a laudable position.  This is crazed hatred.

NY Times headline this AM:

Fate of Iran’s Enriched Uranium Is a Mystery
U.S. intelligence agencies had long assessed that, faced with the possibility of an attack on its nuclear facilities, Iran would try to move its stockpile.

Yes but that's 'fake news', don'tcha know?

The Make Americans Goobers Again crowd thinks that only Trump's daily plethora of lies are what one should believe.

From the above:

Q:   Sir, you cited a body of credible intelligence to suggest the damage at Fordo and other places. What is that referring to, and when can we see it?

SECRETARY OF DEFENSE PETE HEGSETH:  I was reading from the CIA director's statement, which came out last night. CIA — again, they do the BDA. They do the assessment. CIA can confirm that a body of credible intelligence indicates — it also goes on to say new intelligence from historically reliable and accurate sources and methods.

It takes a "true believer" to accept the word of the local town drunk over the reporting of CNN....because alcoholics never lie.  But you do you.

"While drunk in his military uniform – a violation of military laws – Mr. Hegseth was so inebriated that his brother had to carry him out of a Minneapolis strip club. This occurred during a drill weekend with the Minnesota National Guard."

"Mr. Hegseth regularly became so drunk that he passed out, threw up, and had to be carried out of family events and public settings, sometimes shouting sexually and racially offensive statements."

Pitiful. What about the general? What about CNN using an early assessment with low confidence. What about later intellence. Your answer is simply attack the man and not the ball. Pitiful.

One thing that really impresses me about the left, is that their media can tell lies, like Hegsteth is an alcoholic, or Russian collusion, or the laptop, or that Trump called veterans suckers and losers, and no matter how many times they are shown to be false, or how ridiculous they sound,  the true believers continue to regurgitate them as facts.

"In an interview with Israel’s Channel 13, Israel Katz discussed the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities that took place over the weekend.

“It was clear from the beginning that the strike would neutralize the surrounding infrastructure — it wouldn’t eliminate the (nuclear) material itself. Now there is a joint American-Israeli position saying to Iran, ‘You must hand over this material,’” Katz said in the interview, which aired Thursday."

How about watching the briefing given by Hesgeth and Gen. Dan Caine then. I've attatched it above.

I never said he planned or coordinated the attack.  He just gave a good explanation of the mission. Overall he is the JCS so everything the DOD and all US Forces do come under his command and ultimate responsibility. Just like back during Gulf War Norman Scwharzkopf gave the breifings and got a lot of the credit but his subordinates planned and executed the missions.

I don't care who said what about the Damage inflicted. Without photo or video evidence ie internal or smashed surface structures on other targets I will take it with a pinch of salt. Satellite evidence means nothing on the surface just 3 holes what's below the holes is the important factor and so far no evidence of destruction has come to light. Its the same as someone saying its raining outside without popping your head out of the window to see for yourself you rely on what you were told. What I will ask is what kind of a leader comes on Camera and uses foul language and calls people scum ? and then throw in the old the crew risked there lives in this mission thank god for that. The old heart string pull for maximum effect. DJ  will have to explain now why did he say talks are going on with Iran concerning there Nuclear Capabilities when Iran has said they never agreed to any talks.

There is such a thing as OBJECTIVE REALITY when it comes to most things including the extent of the damage done to the Iranian nuclear program by Trump's big bombs.

A few things we know --

Trump announcing right away that their program was completely obliterated was simply PROPAGANDA as there is no way possible he could know that.

Later reports in the press about leaks suggesting much less devastating damage was not fake news. They were merely press reports about something that still as yet is short of it being possible to get to the OBJECTIVE REALITY of the actual truth about the damage.

Trump being the narcissistic authoritarian leader that he is wants to shut down any press that says anything that isn't exactly his own PROPAGANDA narrative.

Meanwhile, the public awaits more information so that that they can know what happened that is close to OBJECTIVE REALITY.

The press is where the hope is to reach that situation. From Trump's white house, there is no hope to ever hear the TRUTH, social or otherwise.

Cheers.

As I understand it, it was 15 years of of planning that came to fruition, and it was executed flawlessly.

Well, this didn't come as a surprise, but it does indicate that little additional intelligence has been gained after those initial BDAs (Battle Damage Assessments).

Senators diverge sharply on damage done by Iran strikes after classified briefing

https://apnews.com/article/senate-intelligence-briefing-iran-bombs-trump-gabbard-bccfbfe5c52b39eacdf02a0a8323847f

"Senators emerged from a classified briefing Thursday with sharply diverging assessments of President Donald Trump’s bombing of three Iranian nuclear sites, with Republicans calling the mission a clear success and Democrats expressing deep skepticism.

Many Republicans left satisfied, though their assessments of how much Iran’s nuclear program was set back by the bombing varied. Democrats remained doubtful and criticized Trump for not giving Congress more information. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer of New York said the briefing “raised more questions than it answered.”"

I remember Biden calling me garbage.

It is amusing the left is all the sudden concerned about foul language, after promoting it’s use for the last fifty years.

"To me, it still appears that we have only set back the Iranian nuclear program by a handful of months. There’s no doubt there was damage done to the program, but the allegations that we have obliterated their program just don’t seem to stand up to reason.

I just do not think the president was telling the truth when he said this program was obliterated. There was certainly damaged done to the program, but there’s still significant remaining capability.

I walk away from that briefing still under the belief that that we have not obliterated the program. The president was deliberately misleading the public."

The words of Senator Chris Murphy, after attending today's classified briefing to Congress.  Trump lies again.
