The mayor of New York is one of the most visible of American politicians. If it's going to be a democrat, it would be better for the democrats and the country related to the effort of diminishing maga to have a different nationally recognized representative.

I would rather have a republican or independent in that office than him.

My fellow Brits have seen this play before. Militant Tendency ( Liverpool ) destroyed Labours chances of election in the 1980's.

Added, the Muslim vote now controls Mayoral elections in London and elsewhere. The American backlash will drive moderate Dems to the GOP.

The cuckoo has landed in the Democrat nest and it's kicking out the traditional voters.

Hopefully he can be stopped. He hasn't won yet.

I do not understand what you are saying. You think the color of a mayor is important.

I would vote for you if you were running against him.

He's a communist.

He won't.  You have no idea what effect he'll have on national politics. Even the anti-Trump Brits on this forum know I am correct.

Militant Tendency level Muslim in charge of NYC? Wow, hilarious.

I think about 15% of New Yorkers are Jews, most of them are democrats, and he still won the primary.

Thank you Lord.

There is no evidence that he is at all militant.

There is apparently a target rich situation for opposition research on the guy.

Too bad they went with dinosaur Cuomo.

He could have and should been beat in the primary.

You don't understand what I'm talking about. Google "Militant Tendency, Liverpool."

It destroyed the UK labour party in the 80's. Mamdani is from the same school of nutters.

So ya'll laughed at London and now you can 100% guarantee a Muslim mayor of NYC. Why? Mamdani will lift 100% of the Muslim vote. You will see a vast turnout on his behalf.

Add to that the "educated whites" that think they are being clever and he will be unbeatable. Unless -

Trump endorses Adams. Get ready for the first true Black MAGA v Muslim/Muslim cuck confrontation in American political history.

Wait till you see the reaction of black voters to being undermined by a Muslim/White socialist coalition.

The Dems are already bleeding Hispanic votes. 60 years after the Civil Rights Act watch the new realignment take place.

I take it you’re not happy then.

This wouldn't matter if it was Cleveland.

Being that it's in media capitol NYC, unfortunately it matters.

I don't consider this as a real reflection on national democrats though.

It's more like a fluke because they went with Cuomo. Big mistake.

Interesting. But what about Curtis Sliwa? This poll says Sliwa is ahead of Adams. One of these two needs to stand down and support the other.  A May poll conducted by Emerson College, PIX11 and The Hill showed 10% of registered voters support Adams, compared to 13% who support Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa

Why on earth would anyone be laughing at London? Londoners are overwhelmingly happy with Khan and he's the first mayor ever to be elected for three terms.

So again, why are "y'all" laughing? Try and explain it without sounding racist if you can. (Cue the usual right wingers who will cry "Islam isn't a race so we can't be racist"......)

Confusing electoral bloc voting with success - hilarious.

By the way, amazing to call me racist when I'm saying back Adams and the implications for the black vote. Have you contemplated thinking before posting?

I don't agree but it is waving a big arrest me flag in Stephan Millers head now.

This post is a prime example of "opening mouth and letting belly rumble." I'll spell it out.

Muslims for racist and religious reasons will back the Muslim candidate. It plays into the "world caliphate" mindset.

I'm known for detesting this rhetoric but there comes a point you have to acknowledge what's at play.

Don't visit the UK anytime soon 😀😀
