Back to Thailand via Chong Mek on visa-exemption

Hi All,

 

I came back to Thailand from Vietnam via Chong Mek on a visa-exemption earlier this week no problem.

 

I did my TDAC registration a few days before going to the Thai land crossing, where I handed both my passport and my smart phone with the screenshot of my card on the screen to a male officer, who wouldn't even have a look at my card. Not a question was asked nor a word said.

 

As for the registration, I entered the address (province) in Vietnam and the phone number of the owner of my place.

 

This is my 3rd entry to Thailand via Chong Mek and that on a visa-exemption.

Thanks for report however you live in Vietnam it seems. 

Most folk are interested in  border bounces from Thailand to border and back for visa exempt stamp.

I've wondered the same. Probably took a bus from somewhere in Vietnam to Pakse in Laos and then entered Thailand at Chong Mek.
