saw a YT video of a Chiang Mai farang bragging about making 300,000 a month running a bar.   He said girls were super happy getting 500 baht.  Sure, whatever.  Boycott.

 

Thailand needs more digital programs.   298 apps starting 1 year before you visit, then a new DTV visa allowing a bank account for only 29 days and then 298 mandatory trips back home and then 38 border rejections and 29 pictures per day.   Too many hoops, nobody likes that.   Vietnam is a fun place to visit.  Real fun.   

 

Tourism is not going to magically recover this year.    November and December should be fine.  If not....oh no.

 

It's time to allow all of India, China and Russia.........free everything.  Bring in 100 million.   One day people here will realize we are the fringe.

A friend of mine just spent a week in Pattaya, and the stories that he told me were quite astonishing. First of all he told me that prices have doubled in the last 18 months, so if business is slow it makes me wonder why?

 

Secondarily he said that he's never seen a larger group of fat, ugly and old women at the bars and massage shops in his entire life, and he's been going to Pattaya at least once a year for the last 15 years. 

 

And thirdly, he said it was very slow, and he saw a few foreigners here and there drinking beers in the bars, but he said there was very little business anywhere he went. Wonder why? 

 

 

You people are all racists and bigots. I’m shocked by this conversation. I’m a 61 year old English guy about to retire in Thailand with my wife and 5/8 year olds. Having a house built. Fortunately it’s Buriram far away from foreigners who seem to have such a bad view of Thailand. If you don’t like it go back yo your own perfect countries.  Outrageous
