The FBI will be knocking on a lot of doors over the next few months.    It only takes one whistleblower to crash them all.

From the linked foxnews report  above:

It is unclear whom the grand jury is expected to target and what charges could be in play given the statutes of limitations for much of the activity from nearly a decade ago have lapsed.

Bondi's Strike Force scope has many teticles .

I'm dying to know what  Patriot Prosecutor from the Strike Force , Bondi assigned it to!

I love it when Turley's legal opinion chimes in.

From the NBC news link above:

The senior Trump administration official said that there is no exact timetable for when the grand jury will meet and that it could take months for the proceeding to begin. Fox News first reported Bondi's letter.

The official said a letter signed by Bondi instructs an unnamed federal prosecutor to begin presenting evidence to a grand jury to secure potential federal indictments. But the letter does not say what the charges would be, whom the grand jury will investigate or where it will meet.

A DOJ spokesperson declined to comment on the report of an investigation but said Bondi is taking the referral from Gabbard "very seriously."

That bit made me laugh.........they desperately want people to think this is a huge deal....555

Statute of limitations applies to the last criminal act in ongoing offense acts so the fact the conspiracy began in 2016 is irrelevant for those who continued to participate, testify to Congress, be interviewed by Special Prosecutors etc

I'm reading from retired Federal Prosecutors the primary interest of the DoJ are the law firms and companies known to be involved in this imbroglio.

I still don't expect anyone senior to get jailed - the job just now is to scare whistleblowers into compliance. One pulled thread could unravel this entire fiasco.

"Among the declassified material was a meeting record revealing how Obama allegedly requested his deputies prepare an intelligence assessment in December 2016, after Trump had won the election, that allegedly detailed the "tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election."

He would have been totally negligent not to.

All those  conspirators who became Cnn/MSNBC/ABC/NBC/CBS news contributors and their conversations on air will be met with much scrutiny ,by Strike Force Investigators.

Not following it that closely but seems like Murdoch showed Trump how powerful he could be with a couple of big Epstein stories in the Wall Street Journal - Likely Murdoch got what he wanted and is now pivoting most of his resources to this ... stuff.

No one is arguing that Obama wasn't entitled to ask for clarity on potential Russian interference.

Many of these people were interviewed by Special Prosecutor John Durham. The clock didn't start ticking in 2016.

It started ticking on the last day of their participation in a ( potentially) criminal conspiracy

If its here it will linger!   DC and NYC are the bastions for legal dem  bias.

"It was not immediately clear whether the grand jury would be based in heavily Democratic Washington, DC, or elsewhere".

The Grand Jury is a farce.....to be fair, it must have looked good on paper originally and it will play well with the hard of thinking who watch Fox News (look at the following on here already).

No judge, no defence......just a vitriolic, Obama hating prosecution conning a load of gullible citizens.

Even if they are tricked into some made up indictments it will all fail miserably once they reach a proper court.

The Statute of Limitations applies to acts that are actual crimes.

Not trumped up nonsense. (pun intended).

Correct.

And that's why a Grand Jury will decide whether or not to indict.

That's how it works..

Good Point !

Look at this thought . Its like bam a Bslap in your face. Leftist medicine being used against their ilk.

"It’s possible that prosecutors could develop a novel legal theory to revive seemingly expired charges, as performed by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg last year when he won a 34-count felony conviction against Trump for falsifying business records to conceal 2016 hush money payments".

NYP above.

If it ever convenes.

And look at the Smug Vance! Like Turley said in my previous post, Bondi got evidence.

In particular as following investigations, such as the Mueller investigation and the GOP-led Senate Committee investigation have proven the reality of  Russian interference! 🤣

Or espionage. There are still a lot of documents missing from Trumps bathroom.
