Statute of limitations applies to the last criminal act in ongoing offense acts so the fact the conspiracy began in 2016 is irrelevant for those who continued to participate, testify to Congress, be interviewed by Special Prosecutors etc

I'm reading from retired Federal Prosecutors the primary interest of the DoJ are the law firms and companies known to be involved in this imbroglio.

I still don't expect anyone senior to get jailed - the job just now is to scare whistleblowers into compliance. One pulled thread could unravel this entire fiasco.

All those  conspirators who became Cnn/MSNBC/ABC/NBC/CBS news contributors and their conversations on air will be met with much scrutiny ,by Strike Force Investigators.

Not following it that closely but seems like Murdoch showed Trump how powerful he could be with a couple of big Epstein stories in the Wall Street Journal - Likely Murdoch got what he wanted and is now pivoting most of his resources to this ... stuff.

"Among the declassified material was a meeting record revealing how Obama allegedly requested his deputies prepare an intelligence assessment in December 2016, after Trump had won the election, that allegedly detailed the "tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election."

He would have been totally negligent not to.

No one is arguing that Obama wasn't entitled to ask for clarity on potential Russian interference.

Many of these people were interviewed by Special Prosecutor John Durham. The clock didn't start ticking in 2016.

It started ticking on the last day of their participation in a ( potentially) criminal conspiracy

Good Point !

Look at this thought . Its like bam a Bslap in your face. Leftist medicine being used against their ilk.

"It’s possible that prosecutors could develop a novel legal theory to revive seemingly expired charges, as performed by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg last year when he won a 34-count felony conviction against Trump for falsifying business records to conceal 2016 hush money payments".

NYP above.
