6/10. Same as me Gary.

Thrilled for the Jam Tarts north of the border. Home to Rangers this w/e.

Here we go then for a full house. Not had one of those for yonks.

1-2 - Toon v Blues --- ?????

2-2 - Cherries v Clarets

1-1 - Seagulls v Black Cats

2-0 - City v Irons

2-1 - Wolves v Beez

3-2 - Spurs v Pool

1-1 - Toffeez v Gunners

1-2 - Peacocks v Palace

2-0 - Villa v United --- banker

0-2 - Cottagers v Forest

If I'm right City will go top.

First match up is a real cracker. Gone for Chelsea; but??? Wolves to get their first win. Toffeez finding their feet at the new ground.

Best game in Champs for me; Saints v Sky Blues.

Three right from the first 8. How bad can yer get?

Wolves are gonners. Gonna call them Wimpy Wolves. Is there me fight in the team? Record low points score?

Well done Gunners. Under a lot of pressure; but came through to stay at the top.

Sky Blues drop 2 points. Boro drop 3.

  • I was not expecting Everton to be above Liverpool on the table with 15 games gone. It is so tight from Number 4 to Number 12 and this is what makes Premier League really interesting.

  • Interesting call.  Liverpool to fall to 4th. I suppose Salah & VVD are certainly getting on. They could still sign Isak.  I can't see Palace finishing that high.  Will they even kee

I didn't do too badly.

I actually got a couple of correct scores finally. 1 nil to the Arsenal & Spurs 1 - 2.

You've cursed Wrexham & Millwall are on the slide. Championship sides so inconsistent. QPR are on the move.

Boxing day today. Only one EPL game. Two of the Uniteds match up in Manchester,

1-1 - United v Toon

1-2 - Forest v City

2-0 - Gunners v Seagulls

2-2 - Beez v Cherries

1-3 - Clarets v Toffeez - BANKER

3-0 - Pool v Wolves

1-1 - Irons v Cottagers - ???????

2-1 - Blues v Villa

2-0 - Black Cats v Peacocks

2-1 - Palace v Spurs

There we have it. Quietly confident. Great game in Edinburgh over the holiday. That's the one I'd like to be at.

National League South local derby,  Both close to where I used to live. 1 km from Daggers, 5km from Urchins. That's Dagenham v Hornchurch.

It's another tough predictions weekend.

That's why I've gone for 4 draws.

Bees, Irons, Blues & Black Cats.

We agree on the others. Goodluck. 👍

Championship:

Wrexham in 8 goal thriller.

Lions out of playoffs.

Watford find some form.

Amazingly, incredibly, terrible. Just 3 from 10. Jam Tarts came unstuck at Hibs. My old ravers - Irons - look in big trouble.

Shock of the season in Champ; Sky Blues 0 - 2 Tractors. and Boro couldn't find any joy. They went down at home to the Tigers. Lions and Dragons for top 6.

Another round of matches start up today. and they are pretty easy to predict for a change. So high hopes of 100%

0-1 - Clarets v Toon

2-2 - Blues v Cherries

1-2 - Forest v Toffeez

2-2 - Irons v Seagulls

2-2 - Gunners v Villa ----- BANKER

1-1 - United v Wolves

2-1 - Palace v Cottagers

2-2 - Pool v Peacocks

2-1 - Beez v Spurs ----- ??????

1-2 - Black Cats v City

No probs on this. Four 2-2 draws in my selections. This is a big test for Black Cats. Can they get even a point? Let it slip of late.

City and Villa are the form doggies. Both with 18 from 18.Then Pool with 14/18. Cherries dropping like a stone; 3/18. Only the bottom 3 are worse.

If Celts win at Steelmen's ground tomorrow, they could go top. Deposing Jam Tarts. Motherwell not anyone's push over this season though.

Blues, Irons & Red Devils. Not bad.

But, why is that your 'banker?'

I used to buy every Shoot Magazine as a young lad. I remember having a team photo of Motherwell. They've been my Scottish team ever since.

Started out well with 5 from 6 and three correct scores. Only got the Pool v Peacocks game in the last 4 of the NY round.

I put the Gunners v Villa as a banker because Villa were on a roll. A bit optimistic with that. Also thinking there might be 4 goals in the Anfield match. But 6/10 is a move in the right direction after some poor forecasting of late.

The Steelmen did the bizzo. Now Jam Tarts are back in the driving seat. And could it get even better. They have a comfortable game at home v The Lions, while Rangers go to Celtic Park to (try to) leapfrog Celts.

I don't do midweek predictions.

Lucky, as 7 out of the 10 matches ended in draws. That's hard to predict.

My dad never did that well doing the Football Pools.

Today I'll be watching a bit of PL & Dundee derby for a change.

For some reason I got three correct scores midweek. I'll have another try today.

3-0 - Villa v Forest

2-2 - Seagulls v Clarets

2-2 - Wolves v Irons

1-1 - Cherries v Gunners

2-0 - Peacocks v United ----- BANKER

2-1 - Toffeez v Beez

2-1 - Cottagers v Pool

2-1 - Toon v Palace

1-1 - Spurs v Black Cats ----- ??????

3-0- City v Blues

Irons' next two games are crucial. I fancy them to get points in both. What has happened to Forest?

Big game in Scotland. I want a draw. Or a Gers win. Nothing against Celts or Gers; just want Jam Tarts to break their stranglehold.

Dragons on the move. Away to Rams Sunday. Every chance of winning. Could go top 6.

I got Villa, Seagulls & Gunners. Same as you, I thought Wolves to draw. 3/4.

Sunday: Toffees, Pool, Toon, Spurs, City.

Leeds to draw. (3 differences)

I watched the Glasgow derby. Celtic should have won it by half-time.

I watched the first half of Wolves. Really poor Irons. Some of the Dundee Derby.

Don't look good for the Irons. Can they survive? I thought that they would a while back Now I'm not so at all sure. On a real bad run.

Motherwell dong great. I'm a new fan.

The EPL programme stretched over 3 evenings this week first one up:

Irons v Forest. Now common sense tells me that any team going to Anfield and coming away with a 0-3 victory is some team indeed. And, the Irons are terrible this season. So!! I'm going for a home win 2-1 .

Put the others up tomorrow.

Got the right score, but Forest took the points. Irons in dire trouble.

8 matches today.

Rangers go second to Jam Tarts.

They certainly are.

Can't believe Blues gave a 6-yr contract to their new coach. But, it is Chelsea.

The Blues must have great faith in him.

What is going on at United. They are hovering around the top 6. Hardly a disaster. Who could be manager come next season?

Day two of the mid-week EPL programme.

Some very interesting games. One left out. The round's big one. Post tomorrow on that. Let's see who can cut the mustard tonight!

2-1 - Cherries v Spurs

2-2 - Beez v Black Cats

1-1 - Palace v Villa

2-0 - Toffeez v Wolves ---- BANKER

2-1 - Cottagers v Blues

2-0 - City v Seagulls

1-0 - Clarets v United

2-3 - Toon v Leeds --- ??????

Have Wolves found a bit of fight? Be interesting to see how the United players react to their manager getting his P45.

Black Cats have drawn their last 4 games. I reckon 5 after tonight.

Put a ??? against The Toon game with Peacocks, as I think the away team are on the up. The other match that looks like it could go any one of three ways is Palace v Villa.

Glad I don't predict midweek.

Would have been a poor one.

Bees up to 5th despite losing their coach & two main scorers. Thiago banging in the goals. 👏

** Gunners 2 Pool 1.

Hard to predict many of these results as you say Gary. Just when you think a team, from 4th down to 17th are about to go on a run, they go lose 3 games on the spin.

Palace, Forest, Black Cats, Cherries have all shown a bit, but faded badly.

EPL on last 6 games form; out of 18 possible:

15 - Gunners

14 - Cottagers

14 - Beez

13 - Villa

12 - City

12 - Pool

10 - Toon

07 - United

07 - Peacocks

07 - Black Cats

06 - Seagulls

06 - Forest

06 - Blues

06 - Cherries

05 - Wolves

05 - Toffeez

05 - Spurs

03 - Clarets

02 - Palace

01 - Irons.

If Gunners win tonight that stay top by 8, and also go 18 from 18 form points.

I agree with you; Gunners v Pool. My result; Gunners 4 Pool 1.

Gunners 4 Pool 1.

Boring match by all accounts.

Title is far from over.

Some decent FA Cup games. 🏆

Although many players to be rested.

Charlton vs Chelsea.

West Ham vs QPR.

Pompey vs Gunners.

I thought The Gunners would cut loose. How wrong can yer be.

Match stats say arsenal had the better of the first half, and Pool took the majority of play in the second.

I'll have a good look at the cup games when I comeback from the farm to feed the fish and ducks.

Form table after last night's game.

12 - City

10 - Toon

10 - Pool

07 - United

07 - Peacocks

07 - Black Cats

06 - Seagulls

06 - Forest

06 - Blues

06 - Cherries

05 - Wolves

05 - Toffeez

05 - Spurs

03 - Clarets

02 - Palace

01 - Irons.

FA Cup with the big boys in starts tonight.

1-2 - Dons v Oxford

2-1 - Port Vale v Fleetwood

2-0 - PNG v Wigan

2-1 - Wrexham v Forest

C'mon you Red Dragons.

Where's the farm?

In Udon Thani Province. A stone's throw from the 'Voice of America Transmitting Station' on the 2022 west of Ban Dung.

Have 8 swimming pool size ponds. Full of kois and some mekongs well over one metre long. 12,000 euca trees. 400+ mature oil palms. 23 ducks and a farm dog called Tintin.

Sounds amazing. 👍

Biggest cup upset ever apparently:

Macclesfield 2 Eagles 1. 6th tier of footie defeat PL. FA Cup holders too.

I'll be watching Dundee vs Hearts later.

Put a lot of time, effort and dosh into the 50 rai. I just love being there. Had another farm as well. Had to sell to get some dosh in to pay debts. Incurred by the Mrs' daughter. Gambling on the internet. I didn't find out til it got over 700k Baht.

It certainly was a shock yesterday. Didn't see that coming. And the irony. The team Palace beat at Wembley last year scored 10 in their game.

I opened a topic on the footy just for the FA Cup; 25/26. Our fellow footy fans seem to have gone AWOL. Don't think I'll get any responses.

Thanks Gary. Very similar to a long running thread here on AN by Owl Sees All.

Wouldn't have one so well yesterday. Would have nailed Chelsea. And both Pool and Gunners draws (one for sure). Definitely would have not reckoned the two united to win; Man U and Irons.

Form as of 20-45. Before tonight's matches. Last 6 games; possible 18 points.

14 - Gunners

13 - Villa

13 - Beez

11 - Cottagers

10 - Toon

10 - Pool

09 - Peacocks

09 - United

09 - City

07 - Black Cats

06 - Seagulls

06 - Blues

06 - Cherries

05 - Wolves

05 - Toffeez

05 - Spurs

06 - Forest

04 - Clarets

04 - Irons.

02 - Palace

Villa will go 2nd and Toon 4th if they both win.
