Fossil Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Being on a retirement extension, I need to go overseas for a while and will naturally get a re-entry permit. Question is how long will it stay valid for? Reason for asking is I'm not sure exactly how long I'll be away. TIA Fossil

You can obtain reentry permit at international airport on departure or at local immigration. If obtained at local immigration office don't be concerned with "date of departure" field. Here is clear outline of everything related to reentry permit from legal mob in Bangkok. TIA Fossil It's valid for the duration of your extension and will be stamped thus. If you can't return before your extension expires, you'll have to start from scratch by obtaining a Non Imm O visa again.
