These 5 journalists were doing the job foreign journalists are not allowed to do, and they were reporting the truth, so the IDF not liking that, killed them, saying that he was head of a terrorist's cell, the IDF would say wouldn't they, that is just excuses to take over land that they have no right too.

What was that "truth" that the reporters reported ?

What does that have to do with the thread topic ?

Let's see some of the usual Israeli protagonists defend this one.

Activists and supporters of Hamas, not journalists, Al Jazeera are paid propagandists based in Qatar, where the Hamas leaders live in luxury. They have done nothing but spread Hamas mis information since the conflict started.

I don't have any reason not to believe the IDF.

I asked Tuly how soldiers feel hearing Benjamin Netanyahu's narrative that there is no starvation in Gaza - that the images we see are a lie.

The Israeli military bears witness to what is happening in Gaza in a way most of the world, including international journalists, still can't.

"When you hear your government and your commanders telling things that are not true, you start thinking, are they lying to me also?" says Tuly.

"When you hear your prime minister lying about things that you saw in Gaza, things that you did ... people talk about torching houses, people talk about a 'deadline' - not a metaphor - a deadline when people cross they will be killed no matter if they are children or women ... they see people starving and they also see the chaos."

Israel has been constantly attacked one war at a time by muslim armies and terrorists since 1948, they are the definition of stupid, they think one day it will be a different result from another Israel victory, and their defeat.

The IDF has presented evidence that Al Jazeera journalists, including Anas al-Sharif,  were members of Hamas or Islamic Jihad.  Whether you choose to believe that evidence is another matter.

The IDF has said:  "Al-Sharif was the head of a Hamas terrorist cell and advanced rocket attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF troops. Intelligence and documents from Gaza, including rosters, terrorist training lists and salary records, prove he was a Hamas operative integrated into Al Jazeera."

https://x.com/IDF/status/1954652255199887516/photo/2

In Al-Sharif's case, this is not a new revelation.  The IDF disclosed his affiliation with Hamas in October, 2024.

IDF exposes six Al Jazeera journalists as Gazan terrorists

Military reveals documents detailing names of reporters belonging to Qatari network affiliated with Hamas and Islamic Jihad activity in the Strip before and during October 7

https://www.ynetnews.com/article/hjiotyul1x

Of course, sympathizers with Hamas will claim the underlying documents discovered in Gaza are forgeries.  This isn't an issue that can be resolved through posts on the Internet.

It's not unusual for people to have differing opinions when it comes to "evidence" of terrorism or even "ordinary" crimes.  That's why defendants are found innocent in jury trials and sometimes juries are "hung," resulting in a mistrial.

Keep in mind there are people who don't believe the Holocaust took place; that Al Qaeda wasn't responsible for 9/11; and Hamas fighters didn't commit atrocities on Oct. 7.   It's not surprising that certain individuals will reject evidence Al-Sharif was a Hamas operative.

The IDF are proven liars, remember those ambulances a few months back.

You are very gullible.

Israel are killing journalists as the final solution is about to start, and they want no witnesses, they really are a lunatic state.

It's no more gullible to believe the IDF than to believe Hamas and Al Jeezera.  Hamas has certainly been proven to be liars on many occasions as well.  Overall, I find the IDF a more credible source than its attackers.

But as I said in an earlier post, this can't be resolved through posts on the Internet.  We can discuss and debate, but none of us will be able to conclusively prove anything.  I don't want to get too philosophical, but absolute proof is only possible in a closed system like mathematics or chess.

Israel has slaughtered 5 Al Jazeera Journalists, add these to the ever growing number:

Question: The target was Anas al-Sharif aged, 28. 4 of his associates were also killed. He is described as a "journalist". Do you consider him a journalist, and if so why?

Journalists are supposed to be neutral, non aligned persons when they report "facts". Why is this man taking selfies with people who were recognized and  identified as terrorists? Sinwar is the deceased leader of Hamas? Would a real journalist be so excited to take a selfie with the leadership of Hamas?

Israel  provided documentation to the UN that showed that Hamas  had both compensated the deceased and had given him training and instructions. As per the attached link you see the documentation. This was provided months ago and was not created after the fact.

Yes, hurrah....especially the journalists and any other collateral damage.

I may need to revisit my opinion of the Nazis.

Are you certain the deceased were "journalists". On what basis do you make that claim?

Do you deny that the deceased was an active  Hamas member?

As far as I'm aware, there is proof that he was a journalist, but for the terrorist claim, we only have the word from Israel, without any proof yet.

Do you deny the selfie with the Hamas leadership? Is that what  journalists do, take selfies with known terrorists?

Israel provided  documentation to the UN, documentation I have  attached above. Do you deny this? The UN refused to respond.

Because a journalist makes a selfie with Hamas, means he is a member? Really?

And then I even leave out the option that it maybe a photoshop. Of course Israel would never be up to lies or false claims.

I don't know why the UN doesn't respond, maybe they are also Hamas terrorists in you head?

Maybe you should consider reading up a bit before you make silly comments, accusing others.

And that also counts for a few other posts of you in this thread.

What is a silly comment?  The fake identity that originated the comment bombards the forum with anti Israel propaganda. There were 18 types of triangles used.

IDF’s strike yesterday that killed Anas al-Sharif — a prominent Palestinian journalist for Al Jazeera whom the military has long accused of being a Hamas terrorist — the Foreign Ministry says that “terrorists with cameras are not journalists.”

Replying on X to a United Nations post in response to the attack stating that “Journalists are #NotATarget,” the ministry writes: “We agree — journalists are not a target. But jihadi terrorists with cameras are not journalists. They are terrorists.”

I agree with the Israel Times and support the IDF taking out a Hamas terrorist enabler.
