Brought a smile to me. I was reminded of a discussion with a Thai girl about sin sot. After she explained, and I said I understood as I had read the various considerations ... age, education, married previously, child, etc. I then told her farang traditional marital history where the bride's family pays a dowry to the groom (now reduced to the bride's family paying for the wedding costs). Yes, I have run into the same situations.  This is a huge problem with many of the girls who work for businesses/companies.  They want the western lifestyle which is expensive so the take out loans or credit cards maxed.  I met one she owed 2 million baht.

 

Seriously, it seems almost better to meet an Issan lady with no western lifestyle desires.  Maybe their English is bad and they are not as sexy, but can probably make better more stable companions.

Not sure what you mean. This girl is from Isaan. 

The girls from Isaan see their friends having farang husbands buying land and big houses and want the same thing.

The fact is Thai women talk to each other and they know farang men will upgrade their lifestyle in some way .... it's either paying off their debts or buying a house and land in Isaan or a combination of both.

Pay them nothing unless you're married and they give you kids. Women wanted the right to get jobs and compete with men in the market place, let them. Stop being benefactors to women who'll drop you in a second if you have your own emergency and can't pay them.

Less than 100 baht per hour.

I pay them to do their work, not to stop doing it.
