Is AGI really really becomes far superior in intelligence than humans, then applying human thinking to what it will do is silly.

Human beings are warmongers and control freaks does not necessarily mean AGI will be.

Hopefully it will be smarter than that.

And yet, it will be built and designed in man's image. This will not end well. We are a spectacularly ignorant species.

I believe this is the core problem. AI is being created by an imperfect being and as a result is, itself, flawed.

Today I saw an article headline saying an AI entity was supposedly at "PhD" level yet was incapable of correctly labeling a map.

AI will be self-learning and run with the ball without human intervention or being pre-programmed, apparently.

We shall see.

How do we give it an ethical basis?   Teach like a baby, and do not allow it too much control until it has shown it has agreed upon ethics being fundamental to its decisions

The "godfather of AI" says maternal instincts need to be incorporated in the developmental stages.

Fired 60 years ago from a strawberry field—I didn’t know how to pick; what I plucked couldn’t be sold.

II was listening to a potted review of ChatGPT-5 and it suggested that while -3 could make you feel like you were conversing with a Phd student, -5 invokes a feeling of talking with the student's professor.

Having said that, yesterday I was Googling for who are the current 'leaders' of the Democrats in the US, and Google Gemini served up the following.

Some humans, REGARDLESS of "color," are just not as smart as others.

You sound racist.

An AGI doesnt need your thinking, only maybe you, as an executing instrument.

That was how the Borg was running. Just one overal AGI and humans(others) as executing interfaces in commands.

Maybe, if connected to a quantum computer, it doesnt need other interfaces .

Then human race is gone. We created a god and no more room for us, simple.

All depending on what AGi is thinking.

As such a computer, they are working on is quite complex and not too many people understand it.

At least I understand from reading about it.

Your brain is nothing more then a processor and is, can be altered then in the way the AGI wants.

That is , if the AGI thinks it is useful, otherwise maybe create totally other executing instruments.

Now you can read about AI's doing weird things and controlling other computers and take action not to be shut down.

Already said AI's can lie. Ok that is all news to be found then on internet, so what is true.

Humans also lie a lot, so we could be way further then is shown or not. Who will show?

Once saw a docu about controlling human mind with an interface on human mind.

Man with Parkinson disease could fully function well, when with switched on interface !

They showed. Was amazing to see, blew my mind. People cured from anxieties with using the interface.

And that program was already years and years ago. It is stuck with me in my brain.

Never saw such a program again. So what do they hide?

As I believe they are hiding a lot and seems to grow more and more.

Maybe "orange man" is connected to a computer with an interface, who knows.
