Four journalists among 15 dead in Israeli strike on hospital

Featured Replies

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni crossed a diplomatic threshold on Wednesday by publicly condemning Israeli attacks in Gaza as "exceeding the principle of proportionality."

During a political conference in Rimini, she denounced the "too many innocent victims" of this genocide that has lasted for nearly two years, while reaffirming Israel's right to self-defense.

Meloni particularly criticized the death of five journalists on Monday, calling this event an "unacceptable attack on press freedom." Italy, which has welcomed more than 917 Palestinians from Gaza for medical care, now calls for a ceasefire.

Good for her and not so good for the other nations and politicians, especially the USA, who failed to denounce Israel.

'It felt like the Israelis were choosing a target for the day and having fun', Gaza ICU doctor says.

FRANCE 24's Sharon Gaffney speaks to Dr Travis Melin, anesthesiologist and ICU doctor, who has been working at Khan Younis' Nasser Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

He says that evidence from gunshot wounds suggests that Israeli soldiers were deliberately aiming at specific body parts of aid seekers 'as if they were target practice'.

Earlier this week, the hospital was hit by subsequent Israeli strikes that killed 22 people, including 5 journalists.

New footage shows that a “double tap” Israeli attack on a Gaza hospital that killed at least 22 people and sparked global outrage included three strikes rather than two.

A clip obtained by CNN shows that the second strike on the Nasser Medical Complex on Monday was in fact two near-simultaneous hits, which caused most of the fatalities.

Israel’s military claims it was targeting a Hamas surveillance camera attached to the hospital, used to monitor the movement of IDF troops, but multiple sources say it was a Reuters camera broadcasting a live stream of the area.

Time will tell what caused the explosion, but it doesn't look like an airstrike

Oh look, Nick flying a ‘false flag’.

Again, I said it COULD be .

I didn't say that it was .

It was a possibility .

I was correct in saying that it wasn't an airstrike

Also, Hamas do indeed booby trap buildings.

I also stated that time will tell what caused the explosion .

Which it did .

So, I didn't claim that it was a false flag event

Also, if it had actually have been a booby trap that caused the explosion, then it wouldn't have been a false flag occurrence .

So, I wasn't flying the false flag

Well who would have thought. Nasser Hospital the same infamous hospital where dozens of hostages were held in rooms.

Listen to the testimony of a hostage that was held there

Appalling: Hamas has a secret armored base inside of Nasser Hospital where hostages were taken, former hostage Ilana Gritzewsky reveals to the UN Security Council.

Right. So bomb the <deleted> out of the sick who are being treated there and the journalists who happen to be reporting from that location.

Triggered by Hamas using Nasser as a previous hostage den and armory, oh dear.

Don’t put words or false intentions in my mouth next time. I know its hard to admit the facts of Hamas using hospitals illegally as human shields and terror holding rooms

I fear that Israel will not decently survive these massacres with 2 billion Muslims now legitimately hateful as neighbors and the unanimous disapproval of the entire world.

The government, yes.
But not the Arab street.
Egypt's Sisi is already expressing reservations, and the same is true for Abu Dhabi.
Let's pray they remain neutral.
As for Lebanon and Syria, they are both undergoing rapid change and could opt more clearly for the Muslim side, pushed by their populations.
And then...

Analysis of footage from Nasser Hospital strike calls Israel’s account into question.

Following the initial investigation’s findings, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir ordered the probe expanded to scrutinize the approval process for the strike, including the timing of the attack, the type of munitions used, and the chain of decision-making on the ground.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement that Israel “deeply regrets” the attack, calling it a “tragic mishap.”

The IDF said after the incident that it regrets civilian casualties and does not target journalists, while accusing Hamas of “cynically” exploiting medical facilities for military purposes. Hospitals have repeatedly become battlegrounds in the Gaza war, with Israel accusing Hamas of using them to shelter fighters, hold hostages, and conceal military infrastructure.

Of course any President except Trump would immediately denounce and condemn Israel for the strike against a hospital and the resulting deaths of journalists from two of its top American newsgathering agencies - the Associated Press (AP) and NBC. Wanna bet Trump just shrugs it off?

Rather than the morons who like to constantly troll me with 'thumbs down' - why don't you morons check to see if Trump said ANYTHING about this?
