I know how the thing really going on there since 1991. I was doing business with Ukrainians in the late 90's- early 2000's and I could write a book about this. Never seen more corrupted country where you could do and have anything you want only by giving the thick bribe envelope to the right person. Nothing changed since then. I feel sorry for normal Ukrainians who found themselves in this stinky situations. The logic of many Israel supporters is, "Why don't pro-Palestinian folks care about Sudan, Yemen, Congo, etc.?" The same kind of logic applies to Ukraine: it is a serious conflict, but frankly, it is not Europe's problem, and certainly not one to hitch our wagon to over the moral high ground and why so many aging expst in Thailand living the dream want to focus on foreign wars far away.
