Has Farage provided these details or did you dream them up?

If you had watched him live, he gave the answer.

Here is a bald, tattooed, far right extremist, giving it straight.

Ukrainian refugees are an example, warmly welcomed to the UK.

Bit of a blanket statement there Chomps.

Didn't know you represented and were a spokesman for the views of the British people.

When did you start in this role?

Lol, pull the other one. Farage has a sharp instinct for identifying and exploiting specific public grievances, but his approach is less about capturing a unified "national mood" and more about amplifying the frustrations of a vocal and loud minority or plurality. He’s less a national barometer than a savvy political entrepreneur who knows his market.

Calling this a "unique ability to read the mood of the nation" oversimplifies things. Farage's appeal is not universal full stop. It’s heavily concentrated among specific demographics - like the photo in the op displays clearly with its own inherent bias.  Nigel's rhetoric often amplifies the concerns of these groups while alienating others, such as urban, younger, or more progressive voters who favor multiculturalism or EU integration. Critics argue he doesn’t so much "read the nation" as skillfully play to a specific pre-existing audience, using divisive issues like immigration to galvanize support while ignoring or dismissing opposing views. If you think this is the mood of the nation you are just trapped in his audience.

Well explained. I couldn't agree more.

I always baulk at these chancers who purport to speak for the nation.

You missed the key difference. Reform plan to detain migrants at the RAF bases, not leave them to roam the streets and harass the local females.

Alright already. I acknowledge that you and a few others are in thrall of Farage's UKIP, Brexit, Reform recycling plant.

How very kind of you.

So who are you speaking for,

The majority of the UK citizens, the minority or just anybody in general?

Have you done a poll or a survey of all the UK voters, including expats who can also vote?

The Tories have a master plan? Really?

Sunak's "Stop the boats" was as ineffective as Starmer's "Smash the gangs" is.

You may have missed the fact that there was a general election and Sunak is no longer the PM. You may also have missed the leadership election in the Conservative party and that Sunak is no longer the leader.

Please try to keep up with more recent events.

It is rather odd that 2 former Labour Home  Secretaries are now calling for Starmer, to either suspend or withdraw from the ECHR.

Blunkett and Straw.

Red Wall Labour MP's are calling for Starmer to sack the Attorney General.

Are these people " Tuning in " with middle Britain, or can they see oblivion in the not too distant future ?

Lefties will be eating themselves, and Farage has got them dancing to his tune.

Some guy, that Farage person.

I might be able to stomach "our Nige" if he hadn't said leaving the EU was a good idea but kept his EU pension; hadn't married a German; hadn't got German passports for his kids and hadn't been turned down for a German passport himself.

If Churchill were around, he'd be in a concentration camp.

Good God you're proper dim. Of course I know Rishi and the Tories are gone and they have a new leader.

My point, that soared over your wee head, was his/their "Stop the boats" WAS just as effective as Starmer's CURRENT "Smash the gangs" mantra. Fancy slogans that have delivered bugger all...like Bojo's "oven-ready" Brexit deal which wasn't even half-cooked.

So, now you're up to speed, what is Badenoch's cunning plan?

Who me? Why would I bother when apparently Nigel has already filled the position of pollster-in-chief and speaks for the majority.

Sheeple.

As I have never met Badenoch and I am not a member of the Conservative party or any other political party, why do you think that I would know.

Do YOU know?

If you really need to know, why not contact her directly and ask her? And, NO, I have no idea how to contact her.

I stopped voting Conservative many PMs and years ago.

One thing that I have learnt over the years is to try not to insult people as it only shows your ignorance.

A lesson that you seem not to have learned yet.

Sheeple is just another example.

Sheeple.

I am going to vote for Farage, despite being called Nigel.

The chances of him ever being PM are very slim.  By the time of the next election, people will be aware of Reform's policies on the economy, NHS, education etc, and the chances of them winning a majority will be slim to none.

I absolutely disagree.

Labour will have completely wrecked the economy by then, the NHS is already unfit for purpose, people are struggling to feed themselves, immigration is FUBAR and in many people's opinions the country could actually be heading towards some kind of civil war.

Farage while imperfect will increasingly look like a very appealing option.

Totally incorrect.

It is people like you that said Brexit didn't have a chance.

With total incompetence from the 'major' parties the vacuum is there for Reform to exploit - and Farage is someone who can do that.

Yes, I genuinely believed that Remain would win.  They certainly would now, if there was another referendum.

But while there's no doubting Labour's and Starmer's currently unpopularity at the moment, 4 years is a long time in politics.  Getting the bad news and hardships out of the way in the first year or two, then building up to a election with sweeteners is normal.  And, as I said, Reform are currently a one-trick pony and a closer examination of their policies will cut their support dramatically.

I'm counting on a centre-left coalition of Labour, Lib Dems, SNP, Greens and some independents.  Maybe even the Workers Party and Your Party (doubtful).  If the Tories could do a deal with Reform it would be close.  But if they don't, it won't.

If we assume that the "bad news" is the rampant illegal immigration, that isn't going to be "out of the way" in the next year or two.

The people already here will not be deported in any significant numbers. Labour are incapable of stopping more from arriving.

So it will only get worse for Labour, as more arrive and the consequences that many of us warned about become more and more obvious to the average citizen.

Sweeteners cost money. Labour are wrecking the economy and any "sweeteners" will be seen exactly for what they are, bribes for votes that the country cannot afford.

Labour are toast.

Is the UK suddenly going to be winning, with wealthy UK residents, better off under Labour, no more Boats arriving daily, hotels full with Tourists, Cost of living gone Nooo labour are toast already. Within a year of them in power they have lost the trust of the British people and given a warning if they don't turn things around they will be forced from Government, another three years of them no chance.

You could be right.  We'll have to wait and see.   Who would have predicted that the Tories would win again in 1992 after the poll tax demonstrations and riots in 1990?
