Friendship Internet Website

Featured Replies

Does anybody know a worse website when searching for a product? Upon entering Bacon, I got 1 reply for Bachelor's Bacon  Flavored Noodles. WTF. I tried Meat and got McCormick's Unseasoned  Meat Tenderizer. I won't bother in future. You would think that a supermarket with many foreign customers would have a better website.

Which supermarket? I know in some you have to enter exactly the right item or you'll get everything with any of the names in it. This one?......https://www.friendshipmart.com/en/home-2/.

I looked at that one and entered meat. You can see it says no results so it's best to shop by categories first.

Do you know of any Thai website that works the way it should?

Lazada and Shopee work quite well..but perhaps because they are multinational  not purely Thai.

Search function on Lazada and Shopee are also very poor.
I usually search on Google for what I need, and add Thailand at the end, then I get the Lazada and Shopee links

I have had no issues   using the search function of Lazada or Shopee  web sites no need to involve google at all.

Lazada and Shopee, which do have some items which aren't exactly the same as some might be used to, they're still okay. Villa and Paleorobbie are also good ones for foreign food.

So all 400 items found were what you searched for?

Who was talking about the product quality?

I just replied to your question what Thai websites worked well. I've had no problems with those I listed.

Wow...such 'loyal' customers. It's not a big supermarket chain. Why not support them by giving them feedback?

Tell them you would like to order online, but most product seem to be missing. maybe they can send you updated lists. Why not make some effort to support local business?

Such petulant children.

They aren't perfect so I not ever deal with them again....horrid.

No there where extraneous items  same as  searching with google

but as you see the thing I searched for was right at the top  and there were no  fact checks or Wikipedia context warnings and hopefully the NSA also doesn't know I searched for Yorkshire Gold teabags

(yes China knows) 😋

I  would not expect a 'small' outfit like Friendship  to have a perfect website...they do carry a lot of items and keeping the site updated would require a huge effort...but if your going to have a site it should at least be  semi usable...if  a full online store is too hard/costly they should just have a basic  site  with photos of the shop/products ,map directions and contact details..IMHO.

@johng Direct you've advice to them. No one is perfect, so give them some help.

I dread the day this supermarket falls to progress

And that would more likely be a Facebook site like so many small businesses.

Who can afford a full blown up-to-date website.

It's a supermarket with some unique products and will not fail just because their website is not usable.

Agreed.

I use Friendship almost every day. I was using the website to search for different sausages. It was just one of the sites  I looked at because I wasn't planning to go shopping that day.
