He quite obviously meant that he doesn't partake in hotel breakfasts as they get up rather late. Instead, they go elsewhere and hunt down a 'full English'. With regards to where serves breakfast as late as midday - pretty much any venue that serves breakfast which isn't a hotel. Never heard of 'all day breakfast'?
