visa exempt entry for UK citizens

Featured Replies

could someone clarify, has visa exempt arrival for UK citizens been reduced from 60 to 30 days, or is it still 60 days and 'under review'?

thanks for any info

60 days.

Be aware that airline at departure may/will require onward flight.

Surely you mean at Bangkok arrivals not departure?

No.

Thai immigration upon arrival by air in Thailand would very rarely ask to see onward flight.

It's an airline thing at departure flying visa exempt to Thailand

does it need to be a flight? my mate's thinking about the train to Laos or bus to cambodia, would an airline accept a bus/train ticket departure?

thanks

He won't be going to Cambodia via bus currently.

In any event the airline requires flight.

He can rent a ticket on the net.

Takes couple of minutes.

Obviously requires WiFi and payment method

He could do that if airline insists on onward flight.

Your point.

Most likely would not be required on arrival.

If demanded you could purchase throw away ticket.

As stated. It's an airline thing at departure.
