The best apartment gym & facilities

Featured Replies

May I ask my dear fellows where or rather which apartment building in your experience, rumour , knowledge has the best gym even to standard of a commercial gym or even great beautiful swimming pool and or sauna steam rooms

I am currently looking for a Airbnb that has a decent gym and maybe even more

What about The Base apartments?

What is the gym like there ?

I did hear however,  it's not easy to move into your Airbnb in that apartment building but please that is another story and can we get back on topic please !

We are not here to discuss buildingd used as short term Airbnb rentals !!!

Which apartment building in your and I should say "knowledge" because you may not have actual evidence, but in your "knowledge" even if it is "second hand " ,  was it the best apartment building for facilities, the best gym  pool sauna etc

I wonder what the Carribbean is like?

Anyone living in the Olympus one treadmill there

Nice to read The Base has, it seems from your post, started to make it 'not easy' to move into your Airbnb'.   As a former original owner, I saw a nice, new condo project pretty much illegally taken over by illegal daily renters.   We had a good long-term legal tenant at our rental condo the first year we owned it when the project opened but, after a year, he informed us he was not renewing his lease due to these illegal daily renters making the project very unpleasant to live in.  Reading the writing on the wall, we decided to sell the condo.   For top-notch gym facilities I would book your Airbnb at Nirun, Majestic, or Flybird.

The gym at The Base is very limited.

Nurin is fantastic.  Walk to Big C lots of nice people there. 🙂

The Airbnb is still advertising the base though?

How does that work if I want to stay 3 nights?

Anyone miss Tony's 38 gyms?

' You got to work out " !

You'd be staying illegally.  Do the poor residents of The Base a favor and stay legally in a hotel.

That scam was going on in the UK in the late 70s.

Does anyone actually live at the Base in their 25 sqm condos? I thought they were all illegal short term rentals.

I congratulate the OP on his remarkable recovery. One moment he is at death's door with galloping grobbles and severe spondulitis, not to mention impacted testicles.

It's heartwarming to see he is now searching for a gym, instead of the nearest hospital.

One bedrooms at The Base are 29 and 31 sqm, not 25 sqm.  And, though the project was originally marketed to Bangkokians as a weekend getaway place, people do live long-term in these condos, which have a good floor plan.  We owned one of the 31 sqm units and it was very liveable with a nice, big balcony and a separate, private bedroom--not sliding doors separating it from the living room like many small condos.  As I said in my previous post, we had a legal tenant renting it for a year.   The project also has larger 2-bedroom units of 50something to 70 sqm.
