Accident Motorcycle Crash in Pattaya Injures Two Thai Women
Picture courtesy of SiamChon. Two Thai women were injured in an early morning road crash in Pattaya when their motorcycle collided with pedestrians. The incident occurred at 03.00 on 12 September, in front of a hotel near the intersection of Pattaya Second Road and Pratamnak Road, South Pattaya, Chonburi. Emergency responders from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Unit were quickly dispatched following the report. At the scene, authorities identified the injured as Ms Benyaporn, who was driving a red and black Honda CBR 150 and her passenger, Ms Saranya, aged 36. Ms Saranya sustained serious injuries, while Ms Benyaporn was also hurt in the crash. Rescue personnel provided first aid before transferring both victims urgently to hospital for further treatment. Eyewitnesses reported that the motorcycle rider had been sounding the horn repeatedly to alert two Indian tourists walking arm-in-arm across the road. Despite the warning, the tourists continued crossing without moving aside, causing the motorcycle to collide with them. After the crash, the tourists reportedly entered the nearby hotel without assisting the injured women, leaving the scene immediately. Police documented the scene by taking photographs and confirmed plans to review CCTV footage from the surrounding area. Investigators aim to establish the precise sequence of events and determine responsibility for the collision. Authorities stated that the evidence will be used to pursue legal action as appropriate.
