      It was my understanding that the majority of the arrested workers were employed in building a new factory at the Hyundai site.   Construction work in the US often employs illegals as many Americans don't want to do this kind of work.

Goldwater supported civil rights, he opposed affirmative action on Constitutional grounds.

I dont understand why folks object to illegal construction workers (not Koreans from Hyundai) illegally employed by contractors who are violating Federal Law by employing them, being rounded up pursuant to a judicial warrant.

 

What am I missing? Indictments of the construction companies? Maybe soon. Construction jobs for underemployed Americans? 475 available. Probably at $25 hour plus benefits.

      Maybe in your part of the US.  Where I lived, in wealthy northern Virginia outside of DC, you couldn't get many locals to do manual work.   Lots of the construction jobs were done by Hispanic workers, legal or illegal.  They also did most of the gardening/landscape work and maintenance, filled jobs at fast food, stocked shelves at stores, and did many of the custodial jobs, among other manual labor.  Your leftist angle is laughable--last time I checked, Trump isn't exactly a leftist.
